~Who's more complicated - men or women? ~

I self consciously pulled my hood down further as I walked down the crowded hallways. The students shot glares at me but also stared at me, studied me. They knew not to. They knew the consequences. Yet now they didn't seem to care.
All because of that fucking stuck up Key girl.
Ever since she sat beside me the other day, she's caused a whole new gossip line. Not once has someone sat beside.. As much as I ached to push her up against the wall at her smart comments, I held back. The rich bitch will pay for it one day though.
I walked into science and took my seat at the back of the now empty classroom as I drifted off into my thoughts.
Over the past few days, me and my brothers have had Jay on the case of the Keys but he hasn't found anything a part from the fact that they have another three older brothers, which means there's eight in the family, Léna being the youngest and only girl.
Nothing has shown up on their parents. They might as well have never existed and we can't find any history of how they're fucking stinking rich.
I was pulled from my thoughts when the teacher called out to the now full class to take out their books and open onto... Whatever page she said. I ignored her however and continued to day dream. That didn't last for very long as the teacher decided to pick on me to answer a question.
"Mr. Gray, are you paying attention?" She asked with irritation. I didn't move my head as I peeked at her through my hood.
"Not at all" I grunted. Her lip twitched with rage as she sent daggers my way.
"Principals office, now" She seethed. I gathered my stuff carelessly and made my way out of the class room. I can't remember the last time I was in this class for the full hour. I seemed to get send out of the class with in the first few minutes, yet I still down know why I even bother to show up.
"Gladly" I replied slowly, pronouncing each letter forcefully as I shut the door of the classroom. I strolled down the hall with the same thoughts running through my fucking mind. My curiosity burned to know who drove that girl to sit beside me. She mistook confidence for foolishness the second she acknowledged me.
Of course I didn't go the the principals office. Instead I walked the empty and eerily quiet hallways alone, waiting for the bell to ring for lunch. So when I heard faint chatter coming from the end of the hallway, it was in my interest to listen and follow the voices.
When they grew louder and clearer, I peered my head around the corner to see Léna and Cade with some other girl. The girl that they were with was scrawny and petite with wide framed glasses that hid being her long dark hair and baggy clothes covered her body.I soon recognised her o be Marely Smith. Léna knelt down beside her while Cade stood over the two.
We're they really that snotty that they would pick on someone like this girl?
I scoffed quietly but kept my eyes on the scene with disgust.
"You should tell someone" Léna said fiercely. The girl shook her head and a sob echoed through the halls. I squinted my eyes as my curiosity only grew. Léna glanced up at Cade who looked down at her with pity.
