chapter 4

I wake up with a slight headache and then the memories of last night came flooding back . My uncle is back, but why, why now .

I shake away the thought hoping i don't get to see him again. I quickly stand up from my bed to brush my teeth when my phone vibrates on my side table, I open it to see a massage from Maddy;

Be at your place in 10 minutes

your ass better be ready before i get there Arine

Ps:we have a new teacher, give you more dets when i get there

I smile at the text but hoping deep down inside that the new teacher isnt my uncle.

I quickly dash into my bath room to brush my teeth and bath.

Exactly 7:40 i hear Maddy honk . I quickly take my books and my bag and run downstairs .I take  a quick stop by the kitchen to take my lunch bag.

"hey sweetie"

I turn on hearing my mum's voice

" oh hey mum i didn't see you there"

"hey sweetie how are you?" she aks

"am fine, just getting my lunch"i say kissing her on her forehead

"ok gotta go now mum Maddy is waiting love you"

"love you to" she says waving me bye

I step outside closing the door behind me. I always hate leaving my mum home alone with my so called dad, I know i cant be of much help but at least i can protect her a little.

I open the door of Maddy's white ford car that was gifted to her last summer on her birthday . I was immediately greeted by her strawberry scented air freshener.

"Hey bes"i say while buckling my seat belt
"hey " she says plainly starting the engine of the car

That's unusual

" you okay ?" i ask while settling in my seat

" why didn't you tell me Kaarine"

Oh my she called my full name.
Shit she is really mad at me.

"Tell you what " i ask confused

"that you have an uncle and he is our new English teacher."
I looked at her with a shocked expression.

what!!!!! i screamed in my head, That stupid bastard is our new English teacher.

This cant be happening and  how the hell did Maddy find out he is my uncle.

"I cant believe you lied to me about your uncle that he is dead i mean am your best friend jeeezzz . ..."

"how did u find out" i say turning sharply to face her

" oh thats all you can ask really, how i found out is all you ask kaarine? how about a i'm sorry for lying my uncle is dead huh?  " she scoffs shaking her head

"i'm sorry" i say looking down

"save it " she snaps back

In few seconds we reached our school parking lot. Maddy turns off the car engine and stepped downed not even Sparing me a side glance , she quickly walk into the school leaving me behind.

God i hate when she is mad at me  but its just really hard explaining why i lied my uncle was dead to her but thinking about it my uncle is dead to me.

The alarm of a car going off shook me from my thoughts. I walked into the school hallway and immediately the whispering started.
" God cant i just get a day off from this" i whisper slapping my hand on my face .

I increased my pace as to get away from the gossips faster when i bump into someone
What da.....
"oh my am really sorry " an unfamiliar voice said
I looked up to see who it was only to be greeted with a warm smile
"hey am Xavier"he says handing my books over to me
"am really sorry for bumping into you , whats your name?"
I ignore him yanking my books from his hands.
" hey" i heard him yell behind me.

I just ignore him and walk into my english class , I settle down in my usual sit at the back where anyone barely notice me and just as am about to take my books out of bag our new teacher walks in and guess what? it none other than my dick head of an uncle .

I sigh knowing this year is gonna suck even more
