Teaming up the Orbs - Part 1

I'm not going to go all stupid on ya guys and start saying annoying things like "Comment and Vote!!!!!!", but like any other Wattpad author I do appriciate it when people tell me things about my work. I shall look at my comments frequently and hopefully get in a few parts every weekend... You don't need to vote but if you find anything wrong or you have a great idea please don't be afraid to say something about it! Thanks. I don't know where this story will go.

Authors Note: I hate explanations on where things are going, so Im starting with the action.

#1 - The Spy

Xanner took one look at the cliff edge and ran as hard as he could. He felt his feet pound the ground and the blood pumped in his head. His foot hit the edge of what seemed like the world and he leaped. As if in slow motion, he saw the electric train car sliding calmly on the one rail that scaled the bottom of the cliff. He saw the emergency hatch open for some odd reason, just as he expected. Then, smoothly he fell through the opening and did a small landing roll before standing straight up. "You're late, Agent 27." A voice said behind him. Without even looking, Xanner knew it was Jack. Xanner was only 14 with electric green eyes and short black hair. He had started his job as a spy when he was only 9. One his first enemies was Jack. Jack was 20 and extremely trigger happy. Xanner was so used to this that for some reason he always could tell how dangerous the gun Jack was holding when they came near each other. This was useful in this case; Jack had a Mac-10. "So, Jack. Where'd you you get this one?" Xanner said, referring to the gun. "None of your buisness. So, are you here for the orb this time?" We had both been after the orb for 4 years now. Xanner had just gotten info that Jack had gotten orb 3, the green one. Xanner turned around slowly, knowing what to expect. Jack had dark brown hair that went down to the bottom of his ears, and brown-orange eyes that seemed to shine red in sunlight. Almost ironic. At this point that wasn't what was that important now; what was was the green orb that sat in his left hand, his other occupied by the gun. Xanner loved his job; the thrill and excitment of being so near to death. You want it so badly? Come and get it. Then, setting it on a desk slowly right by an open window he said "If you near me, this orb won't exist any longer. Jack then aimed his gun at the orb. Xanners eyes opened wide. Did he know what he was going to do? Of the 16 orbs in existance, 16 section were split between the world by walls that stretched about a half a mile in the air. These sections were connected only by a small tram station that circled the planet. Supposedly only the president on the entire population of everything existant here was allowed to use this station and some how, Jack has managed to get into one and is passing through territories illegally. The urgency is that each orb is linked to one section of the world and if that would is destoryed then that entire Section is deleted and any life forms on it are eliminated. Jack was serious. The city view below dissappeared and was replaced with a forest of beautiful trees as the train car went from one Section to another. Xanner was good as thinking quickly. He backed up slowly, and taking from a small pot of a desk he took at artificial rock. Then, in a split second he threw the rock at the tip of the gun, knocking it slightly. Jack immediately took fire, and his bullets hit the wall with such force that the car shook slowly. The orb bounced and began rolling...slowly...ever so slowly......out the window. Xanner ran up the wall behind him and forced his legs as hard as he could downwards. He flew forward, and tipping slightly, he aimed himself through the window the orb was falling out. Amazingly, he made it without injury. Then he noticed something a little more important; he was 15 feet in the air above a forest of sharp pine trees. He spotted the orb out of the corner of his eye, and thinking quickly he snatched it out of mid-air and curled up in a ball, protecting the ball with his own body. As he fell, he made out the train car and Jack looking out the window. Before he could notice Jacks expression a branch hit him hard in the head and he blacked out.
