Great, this was just great. This creature we discovered on this mission is related to the seven giant dragon gods in the Abyss that can destroy planets; three evil bastards from Professor Broom's past are behind this, and we lost Hellboy. Again.

Everything was going great for us, but now, we've found ourselves in a predicament. I just hope that Hellboy managed to find that creature and get rid of it, or at least as best as he could as that thing could resurrect itself.

A throbbing pain surged through my head, and I used my thumb to massage one of my temples. So many things were filling my head, making the pain only seem to worsen. I tried to stay quiet as my breathing began to quicken. That's it, the world's going to end. It's all over.

"Miss Lycan?" a voice murmured behind me, causing me to jump. Thankfully, it was only Myers. His head tilted slightly as he studied me, "Are you okay?"

"Y--Yes, I'm fine," I stammered, looking away from him, breaking eye-contact, "It's totally not like Sammael was summoned by three of the Odgru Jahad's most loyal followers who want to begin the apocalypse."

I turned back to see that his eyes grew huge, his skin going pale, "You've got to be kidding me."

"I'm afraid not," Abe huffed, approaching us cautiously, "If we don't find and destroy Sammael as soon as possible, this will only get--what is that?"

I turned back to see Myers cautiously holding what seemed to look like a tongue, making me flinch away from it as he walked closer to us. Abe took it into his hands, carefully observing the wiggling organism, "Hmm, it seems to look like some kind of stinger. Did this come from Sammael?"

Myers only nodded in response. Fear swept over him, over what that creature would do out in society if it wasn't destroyed, being unable to find Hellboy, and letting the public catch a glimpse of him again.

"Don't worry, Myers, we'll find that thing. And besides, if Hellboy does somehow make an appearance in public, we'll be able to find him much sooner," I smirked, but as I caught sight of Abe's glare, unamused with my remark, it quickly dropped.

"Speaking of which, we should go find him before it gets too late," Abe turned, helping the others pack their equipment. He leaned over to some of the agents, asking them to give Myers and I a ride when they went to search for our demon friend. Professor Broom simply nodded to us, stating he'd like to come to, just in case he had a few locations in mind.

It didn't exactly take long. The professor, Clay, and I all had the same idea of where he was, and it wasn't too far from the library either. I could now see the bright glowing sign upon the metal gate: Bellamie Hospital.

Myers turned back to me and Professor Broom, "Why on Earth would he be here?"

My ears perked up as a small smile crept on my lips, "To see his girlfriend."

"Really?"

"I was being sarcastic," I chuckled, even though, to some extent, it wasn't entirely sarcasm, but more or less making a joke of a fact.

We pulled up to the gate, and low and behold, there was Hellboy, standing out like a sore thumb. Right beside him sat Liz. She didn't look much different that the last time I saw her. Same long dark hair, uptight posture, and lack of a smile. I knew she wasn't happy here, but she was much safer here.

We all got up and out of the car, approaching the pair. As we strolled down along the sidewalk, Myers leaned over, "I'm guessing that's the girl?"

"Yep, that's Liz, a close friend of ours. Red, Abe, and I have known her for decades, but she left the bureau about a week ago."

He nodded, soon feet away from Red, who looked on at Liz as she got up and left, his bright golden eyes saddened, "Yeah, I got to go too. Lots to do."

As I reached out a hand, Red winced, collapsing to the ground. Myers and I rushed over to him, catching him before he hurt himself even more. "Red?" I gasped.

Myers looked down at a large wound on his left arm that had now become visible, "Oh God, you lost a lot of blood."

A smile ticked up on Red's thin lips, looking up at Myers, "This is nothing. You know what'll kill me, don't ya?"

Other agents came to support Hellboy, lifting him up onto his feet, walking him back to the car. I looked back to see Liz, and I noticed the way she stared at Myers and I. Despite her emotionless expression, I could sense her sorrow deep within her core. Simultaneously, I sensed curiosity sprouting from Myers as he returned her gaze, before she slowly walked back inside the hospital.

"Come on, Myers, let's get out of here," I padded off to the others, noticing how Professor Broom was observing Myers, who reluctantly followed behind me. The thoughts I could only feel coming off of the professor seemed to be proposing many complicated decisions. And for once, I have no idea what he may be planning.
