My daddy thinks I'm playing but I'm serious, I want to be apart of the game. "Babygirl I got a deal for you, after you get your business degree you can be in the game" said my dad. "Okay" I said with a huge smile on my face .
Friday
I wake up and it's Friday morning, I get up and get in the shower . After showering and getting dressed I step out of the restroom and hear my dad on the phone " yea baby, in talk to her about it "
who he calling baby? I clear my throat causing him to turn around.
"Aww look at my pretty babygirl" I was currently wearing a green cropped jacket and a brownish dress with my naturally curly hair in a half up bun and some white pumas
"It's not even all that " I said while blushing a little.
"So , who were you o. The phone with" I asked , I hated beating around the bush "well ,"
he patted on the bed signaling for me to sit down, " I have a girlfriend". "Cool," I said while grabbing my keys and getting ready to leave, "well I gotta get to school so see you later". I grabbed my book back and headed out the door.
Dammit I'm late , it's 9 o'clock .
I walk in to my first period and head to the back.
"Nice to see you again ms.white" said my teacher. " We have a group project due next week, you will be assigned a partner and will be doing a presentation on one of Shakespeare's great plays".
As soon as she was done speaking the bell rung signaling us to go to next period. "you will know your partners on Monday, have a great weekend. " She said as everyone left her class and flooded the hallway.
