Johnny's POV~
The alarm made me sit up groggily rubbing my eyes with a slight groan and I felt movement next to me. I felt a smile tug at the corners of my lips turning to see he laid there next to me. His upper body exposed to me giving me a clear view of that six pack with his lean torso. I pushed his dyed black hair off his face leaning down to press a kiss against those lips. He grinned pulling me down to him as he wrapped his arm around my waist. He tugged on my golden locks gently as he deepened the kiss.
"I gotta get going to work," I answered pulling back.
He groaned. "Fine, leave me here."
"Why are you mad?" I frowned, he was like this every time I left somewhere I had to be.
"You keep leaving me behind," he muttered pulling the covers over himself as he turned away from me.
"You act like such a kid," I teased with a smile as I nudged his shoulder gently.
"And you're such a girl," he muttered. I could hear the pout on his face which made me lean into him burying my face in the crook of his neck.
"Don't be mad, Danny," I murmured.
"Leave me alone," he growled and I knew he was glaring.
"Why do you do this every morning?" I asked with a sigh.
"Why do you leave me every morning?" He countered.
"I have to work," I answered with a sigh. "It's not my fault you don't work until noon so you have to stay here alone."
"Then get another job," he reasoned sitting up and turning to me eagerly like a small boy. It was cute how he was almost twenty-three and he still acted like when we were in high school. It never failed to make me smile the way he did that. "That way we can have more time together, yeah?"
"You know I canât quit my job," I answered in defeat. I was always the one being asked to give something up, having to sacrifice something for the both of us. Even thought I was younger. Not that I minded, but he knew how much this job meant to me. I had been trying to work as a photographer for a while now and finally someone had recognized what little talent I had for it and taken me in to work for a skater magazine. Everyone told me that my work was brilliant, but I didnât see it. I was just lucky to be there.
"Why not?" He asked leaning in with those crystal gold eyes almost an orange. "For me? Please?"
I was about to say no when he kissed me again teasingly. I pushed him away gently. "I told you to stop being so selfish."
"I'm selfish?!" He glared before scoffing curtly. "Please, Johnny, if anyone is selfish its you being an ass and suddenly not caring about our relationship."
"That's bull," I muttered through gritted teeth. "You're the one that keeps asking for me to give up things I want. Why don't you ever give up anything?"
"I left LA to come with you to New York," he said. "My family and friends were left behind all because I wanted to come here with you."
I sighed. I knew he had given up a lot for me and I was having to leave him behind a lot lately. "Fuck, Danny, I'm sorry," I said as I tried to get him to get out of the covers. "Please, donât be mad. I swear I'll be back before nine and we can go out to eat, 'kay?"
"You mean it?" He asked and I could see he was fighting the urge to turn around and look at me, but I poked at his side anyways.
"Yeah, I swear I do," I answered. He turned to face me with a smile that made me blush and my heart ram into my chest.
