A/N Yoooooo this is my first story in a while, and my first Stony ficc ever. So please be kind?

ALSO I do not own the art. Credit goes to: Vivalski in Deviantart.

And please keep in mind that English isn't my first language, so if there are grammar mistakes, I'm sorry. Plus I'm not familiar with the American school system (but it felt like a dumb idea to put the Avngers into Finnish school system u know), so if there are mistakes in that field, again I'm sorry.

But hey I hope you enjoy! I'll try to make this long, but finish preetty quickly~

The piercing sound of alarm made Tony mutter. 'Just five more minutes' he thought slamming the alarm off and turning to his side. He pulled the covers over his head and tried to recall his dream. But it was no use, the dream was only a hazy memory now. One thing, one very special and odd thing he remembered from the dream. Steve was in it. Steve Rogers. The perfect student, who Tony actually didn't really know. Why was Steve in his dream?

Finally Tony forced himself out of the bed. His room wasn't cold, but getting out of warm bed in the mornings was always a freezing experiment. Tony growled loudly as he started to change. AC/DC shirt and jeans, typical Tony. He went to the bathroom to, you know, do the morning stuff. After splashing water on his face the one part of his dream creeped back to his mind. Why Steve? And why the fuck was it bothering him so much?

---------------------------------------------------------

At school Tony was greeted with his beautiful girlfriend Pepper, and his amazing bestfriend Bruce. What a wonderful tuesday. The people he cared the most about coming to him right as he stepped into school. But something wasn't right.

"Where's Clint? And Tasha?" Tony asked.

"Clint is late, as usual, and Tasha..." Bruce started but went quiet at the end.

"Hm, who cares where she is? Classes are starting and stuff", Pepper huffed seeming a bit annoyed.

Tony looked at Pepper and laughed: "Pepper, are you jealous?"

A hint of blush could be seen on Peppers face as she turned to look elsewhere.

Tony smiled to himself. It kind of made him happy to know that Pepper could be jealous of him. Their little conversation ended there as they all went to their classes.

Tony had English first. He couldn't care less. Tony thought he already knew everything about the English language he needed to know. Actually he felt that way about every class. Then his partner, Steve, came. Oh right, the dream. Tony peeked at Steve, but of course made sure nobody, especially Steve, didn't notice. I mean it's normal to have some random acquaintances in dreams, but for some reason Steve bothered Tony a lot. Too much. Waayyy too much.

At some point during the class Steve looked over to Tony right when Tony was peeking at him. 'Oh god' was what Tony taught as he looked away quickly. Steve had a questioning face. Was Tony just looking at him? Yeah he had had a feeling every now and then that someone was looking at him. But could it be that it was Tony? No, it couldn't be. Right? Tony disliked him. That Steve was sure of. He didn't dislike Tony, but it's pretty hard to be friends with someone who only grunts at you.

The truth was, Tony didn't dislike Steve. Or at least he didn't hate him. He just didn't like mister perfect. Now don't get the idea that Tony didn't see himself as mister perfect. Of course he was perfect. At least that's what he wanted to think of himself. But Steve was mister "I don't do anything bad and I obey the rules all the time" perfect. Tony didn't like that. Nobody was THAT perfect. Plus Steve was liked and good looking. No, Steve was liked. Tony didn't think he was good looking. No.

After English Tony went to look for his bestfriend. He needed something to talk about that would distract him from his dream and Steve. And that something was science. And nobody in the entire earth was as good at science convos as Bruce. Steve on the other hand looked as Tony pretty much ran away. Usually Steve wouldn't care, but he wanted to be friends with every school partner he had. No, he wanted to be friends with everyone. Plus he was sure Tony had looked at him. At least once. Steve's thoughts were interfered with a small paper ball hitting his head. It was thrown by Thor. Probably the most wanted jog at Avenger High. The tall guy grabbed Steve's shoulder and continued walking while laughing his normal loud laugh. They had biology next.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bruce came to Tony's after school. Bruce wanted to do homework together, Tony didn't, but he made sure he didn't bother Bruce too much so the studious one could do his homework.

"You know... Steve Rogers was in my dream.." Tony confessed.

Bruce raised his brow.

"He was in my dream and it has been bothering me all day. Why was HE in my dream? And why is it bothering me so much?" he added.

Bruce stopped his homework and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Tony, I'm not you. I don't know what's going on in your brain. If you don't know why he was in your dream, shouldn't you just let it go?"

"No! I mean I want to know why he was in my dream. Why Steve? Why the mister perfect of all people? He's the only one I remember from the dream", Tony whined.

He really wanted to figure this out.

"I don't know. If I didn't know better, I'd say you have a crush on him. But it's probably nothing special. He just was in your dream and you remember only him 'cause you hate him", Bruce wondered.

"I do NOT have a crush on him!" Tony yelled, but continued a little more calmly: "I also don't hate him. I just don't like how perfect he seems. Nobody's that perfect."

Bruce decided to say nothing. He continued his homework while Tony stared at the ceiling.
