- TWO WEEKS LATER -

The boys had finally met with the producer that was looking to take them on. Luna was excited for them, but she was beginning to feel like she was being left behind. Not that that was intentional, she knew that. It was just she hadn't been seeing much of the boys lately. Luke and Liz had been arguing over school and the band - Liz had won that argument. Luke would finish school even if he had to do it online. Luna wasn't sure where the other boys were at with their parents.

She was laying on her bed, waiting for Michael to text her back. They had another meeting today and it was taking a lot longer than they thought it would. Sighing, Luna stood leaving her phone on her pillow to head downstairs. She grabbed her camera bag, thinking that if she didn't have anything else to do she should be a little productive. As she stepped out into the sunshine, she didn't feel any better. A bird caught her attention as it sat up in a tree, pulling her camera from her bag she began to try and get closer without scaring it. She had managed to get relatively close, her camera held up so she could try and obtain the perfect shot when a car door slammed followed by the boys' voices. She watched the bird take flight until it was gone. Luna felt her shoulders slump as she stood up from her crouched position.

"Lu! We've got pizza!" Luna waved a hand in acknowledgement before she began to make her way to them. Mikey wrapped an arm around her waist, but she gently pulled herself out of his hold. She tried to ignore the way his face fell.

"How was the meeting?"

"Good, we met with a song writer today. They want us to get some songs going and we can tweak them a bit." Luna nodded as she tried to swallow.

"That's great, love. I'm so proud of you guys." Before they made it through the door Mikey pulled her to a stop.

"Lu, are you okay? Did I do something wrong?"

"What? No, Mikey not at all. I'm fine, promise." Luna tried to get through the front door only to have him stop her again.

"Luna, please. I feel like you're not telling me something. Just talk to me." Mikey's eyes were glinting as he looked her over. Luna placed a quick smile on her face hoping that would alleviate some of his worry.

"I'm fine, Michael. I swear. Let's go eat." Luna placed her hand in his as she dragged him into the dining room where Liz and the boys sat talking.

"I've already got a few song ideas going. This is going to be amazing. Luke, do you want to work on one before I head home?" Calum's voice was going fast as he placed two slices of pizza on his plate. Luna sat next to Mikey, gingerly picking at the food she had put on her own.

"Sounds great actually, I had a few ideas too." Luna tuned out of the conversation as she ate only to have Michael nudge her side gently.

"Do you want to go somewhere? Just me and you." Luna took a drink of her water.

"Where are we going?"

"Anywhere, we can just go for a walk if you want."

"Sure, a walk sounds good." The two of them finished quickly, letting Liz know they'd be back in a while.

As they began to make their way down the street Michael gripped her hand gently. They were quiet and Luna felt that Michael really wanted to say something. So she waited.

"Luna, are you sure you're okay with us doing the band thing?"

"Why wouldn't I be, Mikey? It's your guys' dream and it's actually happening." Luna stopped him and looked him in the eyes for the first time in a week.

"Then why does it feel like you don't like it?" Mikey's voice was tight as he asked her what he really wanted to know.

"You're going to think I sound selfish, even I sound selfish to my own ears. I don't like feeling this way. Can we please not talk about this? I'm happy for you, please believe that."
