*Riley's pov*

I heard a knock on my door and in walks Miller with a file about someone just a little too familiar to me.

"Okay, I know you don't want this case, but we have to do it. No one else in the building can take it." said Miller, noticing the look on my face as I look through the file. "Selena heard that he is going to be at the local club, Night Downtown, tonight, and I know you don't want to hear this, but you will need to go undercover. It's a club, so you have to get dressed up."
"Miller how long have you known me?" I replied.
" A long time that's for sure," he replied, wondering why I asked.
"Long enough I hope to know that I DON'T FUCKING GET DRESSED UP!" I replied just face palming.
"You are the best undercover agent out of all of us, just take one for the team," Miller replied, realizing how stupid his request was.
"Fine, but DON'T make fun of how I look in a dress."

I went out to the mall to shop. Selena has asked to tag along so I allowed, mainly considering I don't know the first thing about fashion.
"So...where do we start?" I asked, unsure of where to go and what to do.
"C'mon," she sighed, dragging me along to a fancy shop for dresses.
"Wait here," she insisted, walking off to a section.
A few minutes passed and she called me over.
"How's this?" she asked, holding out a sparkling red dress.
"Good for tonight. You can have it after we're done." I replied, rubbing my temples.
She smiled and we left for another store.
"No. I am not wearing heels," I insisted. "A dress is enough for me."
"You have to, it's part of the look," she replied.
"What look?" I asked, disgusted by the thought of me in heels.
"The party girl look, duh," she replied, looking at me as if I was stupid.
I sighed. "Fine, just for tonight," I said, shaking my head.
What did I get myself into?

We arrived back from the mall and went to my room. It took a while to get the dress on because I don't know the first step to female dress clothing. But, I don't know what took longer, getting the dress on or trying to get down the stairs in it.
I could feel my face getting red as I made my way down the staircase to where the rest of the gang was waiting.
"Well?" I asked. "How do I look?"
"You look great, but you also look uncomfortable. Go change into what you call formal clothes and Selena will take your position," Miller said.
"Thank fuck," I mumbled to myself, then looking at the staircase.
"Selena, go get my clothes and bring them down here. I went through hell getting down here, it'll be hell going back up," I said, sitting on the first step. Not even a minute later Selena came down the stairs with my clothes in hand. I went to change out of what felt like a trap for my body and back into clothes that were more comfortable. Then out came Selena looking like a proper lady and not stumbling once in the heels. We left out and I still had to go undercover in some way. I ended up playing the "shy" friend and followed Selena everywhere we went trying to find him. We had no luck until Selena ended up getting a drink spilled on her so she went to the bathroom to clean up. We saw our target walking out as we walked in.
"Why was he in there?" Selena asked while cleaning off her dress.
"I don't know," I said. Then we heard cries coming from one of the stalls. We walked over and saw a girl. She was struggling to put her clothes back on and there was bruises covering her arms and legs.
"Selena, go get Miller and Hunter," I ordered, turning to the girl. Selena nodded and took off. The girl hang her head in shame. I helped her get dressed and helped clean up her face from her dripping makeup.
"What happened?" I asked the girl, wiping her cheek with a wet handkerchief. She lowered her head and I nodded. "So, what's your name?" I asked, trying to lighten the mood.
   "Lacey," she replied quietly.
"I'm Riley," I said, giving Lacey a small smile. She smiled back and we went back out where everyone else was after she got cleaned up.
