We didn't leave the club until almost 2 in the morning. The rest of the night was spent taking shots of liquor and shots of water my liver was never prepared for and Arden practically falling onto Antonio as the two of them walked out of the club.

"I love that body guard. He always brings me flowers, I should get him flowers too." Arden winced as Antonio whistled for the cab.

"So that's your secret admirer. Always wondered who was falling over their feet for you," Antonio chuckled.

The cab quickly pulled up and came to a halt. I moved forward to open the door and Antonio shuffled her in.

"Are you sure you don't want to ride with us. I'll pay," Antonio paused, "with the company credit card." I laughed and shook my head.

"No, no, I'm okay I promise. My body may not thank me in the morning but I'll be fine."

Antonio pouted slightly as Arden poked her head out slightly screaming at him to get in before she throws up all over the back seat. I smiled pushing the door closed behind them and watched them drive off.

The cool air suddenly nipped at my legs and I wrapped my arms around my self effortlessly trying to warm up. My thoughts got lost thinking about the article and how tonight was honestly no help. I showed up to Inferno with the hopes of getting some idea about what to write and instead I ended up trying to show up one of the biggest stars on this strip.

Thankfully I lived around the corner so I began to walk. The smell of cigarettes hit me after turning the first corner as three guys were sitting on the steps of an apartment complex with instruments. They were lightly playing to the night and I slowed down as I passed them to take it in. Their guitar case was filled with ones and coins and I aimlessly threw some change in.

"God bless you miss, have a safe night," the one man tipped his hat to me with a toothpick between his teeth and they continued.

It was only a few more feet until I reached the front door of my building. The landlord was sitting at the front desk when I walked in.

"You're back late. Long day on the job?" Max looked like something the west coast washed up on the wrong side of the country. Trust me I would know.

"You're up late. Long day on the job?" I countered back smiling. He laughed.

"Just paying some last minute bills. For some reason they just never stop coming," he sighed while holding up several envelopes.

Walking over to the mail slots I pulled out a single card from my mom. I swear she's been waiting for this day just so she could have an excuse to write letters again.

"Well good night Jordan." Max murmured back, too focused on his bills and I made my way to the elevator. I wasn't as tipsy thankfully to the water I drank in between shots but my feet were aching like crazy. I slipped the shoes from my feet and sighed in relief. The elevator opened up when it reached my floor and I lazily walked to my door. Heels were made for hell, I could actually feel the blisters on the sides of my toes.

"Seattle?" My head turned around as Kaden entered the hallway from the stairs entrance.

"Hey, what are you doing climbing stairs at 2 in the morning?" I laughed as I took him in. His hair was wet as shirt. "Did you go for a run?"

Kaden looked down at himself and smirked. "I do it sometimes when I can't sleep. You look dolled up yourself." I suddenly felt self conscious as he looked my up and down. I know I had sweated off most of my makeup and my hair definitely fell out. The seam of my dress was pushed over slightly so my dress wasn't perfect either.
