*Bailey's POV*
This whole staying away from everyone isn't gonna work out. There's like this horrible, stupid, laborious thing called a job; and I kinda have to go to it tomorrow. So, in other words, if I want money, I cannot run away. The sun pretty much went down and the owner of this cafe is about to close it down. It's around 9 o'clock. Destiny is going to kill me for scaring her like this. Hopefully the boys left or like went to their hotel, because I could really go without seeing their perfect faces right now.
None the less, I pulled out my phone from my purse and dialed out to my best friend. The phone didn't even ring once when it was picked up. "Hello?..." I held my breath waiting to be yelled at.
"Bailey HAMMOND. Where the hell are you?! Are you-"
I cut her off because the questions probably would've never ended, "Just come pick me up. I'm back at the bowling alley."
"Ok. You better stay there! if-"
"Bye." I rolled my eyes and hung up.
Ansel pulled up in his black, Ford truck and practically jumped at me. "BAILEY! OH MY GOD, THANK GOD YOU'RE OK!" Then engulfed me in a large hug.
"Yyyyyya."
Ansel is one of my best friends, if i haven't mentioned. Its basically me him and Destiny. We're like the 3 amigos. Like I have a TON of other friends, but they're all fake. Daisy and Ansel are the real ones I trust. He's a bit shy, weird, awkward... ok he's antisocial. The exact opposite of me; but hey, opposites attract, right?
"You smell good." I try and change the subject. He stands at 6'5" and I'm 5'2", so my face was right at his chest.
Ansel chuckled and lifted me up over his shoulders, "Only for you princess. Let's get home, shall we m'lady?"
I was dreading it but I still had obligations and responsibilities I wasn't able to give up just yet.
Both windows were rolled down, letting cool air circulate through the truck. Night time is just as pretty as the day. I don't understand why people hate the night, like its a good thing. Without darkness, how would we see the light? The stars looked especially bright tonight. One of my favorite songs was playing quietly on the radio, Sweater Weather by The Neighborhood. I couldn't help but sing along. I absolutely love it.
15 minutes pass by and we're hooommmeee! Unfortunately there's three cars out on the driveway. Destiny's Camero, my convertible mini cooper, and a black Escalade. I looked over at Ansel with a pleading look, but he gave me a look saying get out. I rolled my eyes a slid out the car, slamming it shut. Then I crossed my arms and stood in place. I did not want to go in that house if One Direction was in it.
"Bailey, c'mon."
"No. I'm not going in there." I shook my head.
"You have to... Where are you gonna sleep?"
"No I don't. I-i'll sleep at your place."
"As fun as that sounds, and no sexual way do I mean, you cannot stay at my place. You don't even have clean clothes."
"I'll buy some before work."
"You already blow most of your money, Bellz. You're not going to blow more."
"Shut up. I'm NOT moving from this spot!"
He gave me a bland look (like that one emoji ) {don't judge that I like emojis a lot and explain people's expressions by them. IT'S PERFECTLY NORMAL.} then quickly changed his facial expression to a smirk, "Yes you are "
