Tyler's P.O.V
"Tyler!" Derrick exclaimed loudly "Wake up we're f*****g late for school!"
I rubbed my eyes with my palms still feeling groggy with sleep "So?"
"Get your ass up from that bed or I'll take a photo of you right now "
"Don't Derrick. I'll be ready in a second"
He ran off to his room while I got ready for school.

*At school *
"What's on your schedule?" I asked Derrick. He brought it out from his bag which slung over his back
"It's math. F**k it, we have calculus"
"Sorry bro. Deal with it"
I checked my schedule and I had my eyes widen in amazement.
History.
"Damn" I said out of disappointment.
"See yah soon " Derrick waved
"I'm ain't gonna be a hero this week
Shit.
I walked into the class which left all the girls staring at me. Fuck'em
I sat down and noticed Mia wasn't present.
"What's up with her?" I wondered why I cared about her.
"You like her?" My conscience asked
"Huh" I replied
"Jackson" Mr woods called.
I raised my head up "Yeah?"
"I need your project and project partner in my office during break "
I nodded and carried my bag as the bell rang .
"Something's up with him. I'll go check " Wendy said so that I could notice her.
"Tyler" She called intertwining her fingers with mine "you don't look good. What's up?"
"Nothing really. I'm just worried about Mia you know. She's my partner "
She shrieked "that slut!"
"I guess that's the perfect description for you " I said without any emotion "I take you as a friend and not some backstabber. Got it?"
"It's Wendy you're talking to!" She exclaimed feeling hurt but I didn't care about her emotions "Tyler look I'm way better and classic than she is"
"That's why I prefer her" I replied shoving her off.
I walked away. But why did I defend Mia?

3 hours later
I was at Mia's. I rang the doorbell and a little boy opened the door. He's very cute, trust me and he kinda looks like Mia. I guess he's a seven year old
"Who are you?" He asked nicely.
"Uh......" I stuttered a bit thinking of a quick lie but couldn't find any "I'm here to see Mia "
"She isn't around at the moment. She's at Kira's place. Will you take me there?" He asked curiously.
Kira's place, familiar. I guess it's a café or restaurant.
"Sure. "
Just then, his aunt came. She smiled on seeing me
"Tyler. How do you do today? "
"I'm good, You?"
"Just came back from work so I'm tired "
"Sorry about that" I said sympathetically
"Aunt Bella I want to visit Mia" the boy said. I'd forgotten his name.
"No you....." She objected when I cut her off . He's such a clever boy
"What the hell is Mia doing there? " I thought silently
"I'll take him " I said
He ran and hid behind me "please aunt"
She sighed "okay. But be back in twenty minutes".
"Yay! "He exclaimed "you're the best aunt in the world"
"Okay bye " I said and left with him "what's your name?"
'Henry' he replied feeling excited.
"That's right. Totally forgot about that ".
We drove to Kira's place.
He's such a chatterbox and I kept  laughing at his sense of humor.

Mia's P.O.V
I didn't go to school today. I wasn't feeling too good. April and I had gotten along. Her story is really sad. Don't ask me what it is .
"Look who's here " April said facing another direction
I turned back. It was Tyler and Henry. Henry was running towards me while Tyler kept smiling at him as he ran.

I'd be a very big liar if I said Tyler wasn't looking good . He's f*****g  handsome. I love his black curly hair and his pretty blue eyes the most. He's the most beautiful creature I've ever seen.
"Mia?" April called out loudly.
I hugged Henry and kissed his forehead lightly "I've missed you baby"
"Me too. Look, my new bestie brought me here " he said giving Tyler a friendly punch while he groaned "ouch " making the "ch" sound funny. We laughed but Henry laughed the most.
"Thanks Tyler and have a seat " I invited adjusting my uniform properly "he has been eager to be here "
He smiled at me.
"Well this is my new friend, April "I began facing Tyler then April "and April, meet my friend, Tyler "
They exchanged pleasantries.
"What would you like to order?"I asked Tyler feeling like a sexy waitress
He assessed me then chuckled "I'm good. Let Henry have something "
Henry gave a wide grin and hugged Tyler "Thanks"
He cleared his throat while April watched him with great interest. I guess she's in love with him already; it always happens. Muriel was Henry's first love now it's April. He's such a flirt.
Funny.
"Yorkshire pudding and petite cake with a plate of spaghetti balls and barbecue "
"Really?" We asked in unison
"Such a food monger " April said and laughed. She's very beautiful. She has small cute eyes and chubby cheeks with blonde hair which is plaited into pigtails. Her skin is fair and she really has curves. She isn't tall or short. Her height is cute ,trust me. She's as slim as I am  but it's not so bad. I really like her as a friend.

Sometimes I wonder why bad things happen to nice and pretty people.
"That's life for you" Mom always says.
"Yes" Henry  said
"Mia. ......how do you cope with this boy?" Tyler asked curiously "I never knew he eats a lot "
"This is just a tip of the iceberg. Mom had to start locking the refrigerator " I said serving the food to Henry.
"Wow. .... That's amazing" Tyler said feeling surprised.
He's beautiful, very.

*30 minutes later *
Henry and April were busy playing with each other. We didn't really have customers today. Tyler and I were chatting about some things. He's really cool when he's not psycho.
"So tell me Mia, how long will you be working here?" He asked feeling very worried about me; it was obvious with the look on his face
"I don't know yet Tyler. I just want my family to be financially stable and that's all. Even if it means quitting school for the main time"
He chuckled "You can't do that. I mean. ...."
"No Tyler" I objected "it's my life not yours"
"I get you but it's not easy" he said "don't you get harassed?"
"Forget it now" I replied. I had had enough of the sad questions
"If you say so"
"So how was school today?" I asked curiously "I missed Muriel so much. we haven't talked in a long time "
"School was pretty good and kinda boring "
"I'd expected that from you" I said rolling my eyes
"I'd take that as a compliment. By the way you look hot on this outfit "
I stood up and knocked  the table "don't cause a scenerio. You know what I'm capable of "
"I really don't know Mia "
I sighed and pinched his left arm
He stepped on my feet
"Ouch" I said and pulled his hair. It was as soft as a cotton candy
"That was painful "
"Oh please" I pretended not to care
He pecked my left cheek and my eyeballs felt like they were gonna fall off "Tyler!" I said and began to hit him. He held my hands and stared deeply into my eyes.
"You're very gorgeous" he said
I blushed "you're embarrassing me"
"No one's here girl" he replied very  sweetly.
Damn. I wished he could hold me tightly.
Wishes that can never come true.
Before I knew what was going on,I found myself wrapping my legs around Tyler's waist and kissing him with burning passion. It felt like heaven.
Just then, I heard Henry giggling. His voice seemed near.
I pulled away from Tyler "Henry's here"
He smirked and winked at me "you're a good kisser "
"Shut the f**k up" I replied not thinking of what I said.
"It's time to go home" April said panting. I guess she was running after Henry
"I'll get you some other time "she said to Henry "Your brother is fun " April said giving a smile as she walked into the rest room
"I'll be back in a couple of minutes " I said to Tyler and Henry.

*45mins later*

Tyler had drove April, Henry and I home. It was quite fun. Henry had already fallen asleep. We'd gotten to April's junction. Her house wasn't far from mine. Like five blocks away.
"Bye!"she said briskly and ran off
"Bye!"
"Thanks Tyler . You've helped me " I said frankly
"No worries. I'm gonna text you tonight" he replied
"Don't " I warned sternly as I carry  Henry. Gosh,he weighs  so much
"We shall see about that" Tyler said and drove off. I waved.
My phone beeped. I knew it was mom
Mom:Where are you and how's my baby boy doing?
Me:come open the door
I headed towards my house. Today was interesting and fun.
