Rose's POV

I grab my leather jacket before heading out to my bike. I slip my helmet and sunglasses on before starting the bike and driving off to hell.

Today is the first day of my new stupid school. I'm just hoping no one gets in my way. I am so not in the mood today. After what happened back in Florida with my family, I have changed so much. It's been almost 9 years since my little sister was left in my care while my parents went off to who knows where. They left me there at the age of 9. I waited 3 years for them until I noticed they weren't coming back.

All they left was a note saying they didn't want the problem of raising two kids who were a big mistake, so I left after I realised they are not my parents. They were strangers to me who faked their love for me. But I'm over it. I have my sister. She's my world. And I would never let anything happen to her.

She was only one then. And she's turning 10 in two weeks.

Once I turned 18, I decided to move away from Florida and come here. A small town in the middle of nowhere. My gang came with me too. They agreed to move our hideout to this town a year ago and we finally went through with it.

And now I am going to try and make my sister's life as normal as possible.

I pulled up into one of the parking spots and turned my bike off. I turned around to see people staring at me. Actually most were glaring. I don't know why though. I didn't do anything... yet.

"Heeyyy bitch!" I hear someone scream from behind me. I turn around to come face to face with my one and only best friend. Faith. She was to cheery for her own good. Sometimes it made me want to slap her.

I smile and shake my head. "Hey. Did Angie get to school on time?" She nods and smiles proudly. You see Faith is late for almost everything. But when she gets to where she's supposed to be, she ends up making the time up anyways.

"Yeah. Your sister is such an angel." She really is. And I hope she stays that way. We here the warning bell go off and we hurry into the school.

After grabbing our schedules, we make our way to class. My red bangs fall in front of my face as I continue writing on the mini Q&A sheet. The teacher wanted to get to know us better so he had us fill out a paper about ourselves.

What do you like to do on your free time?

Easy. Draw.

What does your family consist of?

This question came every class. My little sister.

And done. I hand the sheet to the teacher and start to doodle on my new notebook.

After a while I started watching the clock. It was taking so long for this day to end. I have lunch next.

I felt a piece of paper hit the back of my head making me turn around. I see a guilty Faith staring right back at me. I tried to hold my laughter in as I read the note.

'There are stupid bitches talking bad about you. Saying that you're a fake. Stupid Bitches.' She is absolutely obsessed with the word 'bitch' for some strange reason. I look back to the group of girls who are horribly trying to cover up that they are looking at me and saying something about me.

I shrug at Faith and turn back around. I don't care what they say. Because I know for sure that they are the fake ones.

The bell rings signaling lunch time and I sigh in relief. I pack my stuff up and meet up with Faith outside of the classroom.

"Hey sexy." I heard next to me before someone grabbed my ass. I grabbed his wrist hard and flipped him onto the floor. He groaned as his back hit the hard surface.

"Touch my ass again and I will break your fucking hands. That is my warning. Now I suggest you run off with the rest of your fuck buddies." I say angrily. He gives me a look of disbelief and runs off with his hoes. I roll my eyes. Clearly he doesn't take rejection well.

"Don't you just love this school?" I laugh at her sarcasm and we continue walking.

"Absolutely. I just love having boys be disgusting assholes and girls talking about others when they are technically talking about themselves. Joy." I say back.

"Oh lighten up. It's only the first day." she states.

"Yeah and I already want to leave." I say as we enter the cafeteria.

We grabbed our lunch and sat down at an empty table. It was just me and her because the boys weren't coming to school till tomorrow. They are supposed to arrive at my house at around six. We agreed to share a house so that way we can all just leave together when we need to get to a meeting. And when I'm not home, they said they would watch Angie for me.

"It's so quiet without the boys. They always seem to lighten everything up with their loud, hobo selves. She nods and starts stuffing her face with the sandwich.

It wasn't just Faith and I. There was a couple of boys in my gang who have become my very close friends.

There is James. He's the baby out of the rest of the boys, at the age of 21. He is absolutely adorable and a real sweetheart but he's got a hard side too. You don't want to get him mad. He could break you without even hitting you. He is super precious to our group. Without him we wouldn't be whole.

Next is Ashton. He's the joker of the group. With him the jokes never stop. He will make you pee with the amount of laughing that is caused by the jokes. He's a flirt too. Don't tell anyone I know but Faith secretly has a crush on him. She won't tell me but I see the way she looks at him. He is protective of anyone he cares for. He's the middle child out of the boys, at the age of 22. Without him, I'm pretty sure we'd end up dying of boredom.

And then there's Dante. The oldest, at 24. He is sweet once he gets used to you. When you just meet him, he is quiet and wont really show interest. He has a very hard shell that not many people can break. He is very VERY protective of Angie, Faith, and I. Dante is Angie's best friend. She absolutely adores him. It's adorable when you see a pretty bulky guy chase a nine year old around the house. But with him, he makes everyone feel safe. He's the big brother to us all. We look up to him in a way that most people can't.

Faith is of course my best friend. She helps me with almost everything. Her and I are both 18 in twelfth grade. She is a big part of our missions too. She is my brain. When I need something calculated or located, she gets right to it. She works hard to keep the gang in one piece.

And me? Well I'm their leader. The one who created Black Rose. My gang and I try our best to keep the drug dealers and murders down. We keep the bad out. Of course we can't rescue everyone but our purpose is to at least try to save most lives. And that is what we were born to do.
