"Sorry!" I shouted as I ran into the hotel room. "I had to find my shoes!"

Miranda rolled her eyes at me as she hustled into the bedroom to get my makeup stylist. She returned with a tall tan lady with a large smile. I smiled at her apologetically and threw my strappy shoes onto the bed. She sat me in a chair as she set out different makeup products.

"Close your eyes," she commanded with a thick Italian accent. I obeyed and felt her smear liquid foundation all over my face. She added contouring makeup and other stuff that I didn't know. Then she applied eyeshadow and eyeliner. When she tried to put lipstick on me, I stopped her hand.

"I'm allergic to lipstick," I warned. She made an "o" with her mouth, then set the glass tube back in her make up kit. She applied a red lip gloss instead, then moved on to my hair.

"Gorgeous hair I tell you," she said, her English varying in places. I smiled at her.

"Thank you," I replied with then I let her play with my hair for an hour and a half before declaring me ready. I stood up, stretched, then went to go find my dress. I wandered into my room and found Miranda already unzipping the bag my white gown was in. I marveled at its beauty before I stripped down to put it on. I slid the dress on with the help of Miranda. My dress was all white with a sweetheart neckline that swooped down to expose my entire back, then it ended in a v shape in the crook of my lower back. The rest fit tightly then slowly started to flow out in a long, silky train. I sighed then went to put on my shoes. I strapped them on then walked to the door of the hotel room. My wedding was only half an hour away, and it took 20 minutes to get to the proper location.

"Let's go!" I yelled at Miranda as she ran out of the door. "You have to walk down the aisle in 28 minutes!" I ran out of the door as fast as I could without tripping over my dress. We made it to the car and I basically flew into it while I held my dress off of the ground. We flew down the highway and whipped around the turns as fast as we could go without passing the speed limit. When we got to the reception area, I hugged my mother tightly then I started to walk towards the back door. I heard music begin to play and I took my father's arm. He smiled at me.

"Just imagine that you're walking towards a big chocolate cake," he said as the door opened and everyone turned in there chairs to see me. I smiled at them nervously, then I looked forward and saw the love of my life.

"I can do this," I muttered to myself as I walked down the white sand. Seashells and rose petals were on either side of the aisle, and my family and friends sat in white beach chairs. My bridesmaids Miranda, Mahogany, and Brittany each stood independently beside a white wedding arch. Shawn had chosen Aaron to be his best man, and the groom's men were Taylor, Jack J., Jack G., Carter, Hayes, and Matt. I couldn't help but notice the two empty spots that should've been filled by Cam and Nash, but quickly wiped away those thoughts. I waved at my mother then turned back to Shawn as my father handed me off to him.

"Welcome. We are all gathered here today to celebrate the pairing of Katie Marie Skylar and Shawn Peter Raul Mendes. They have chosen to have a rather short ceremony." the priest turned to Shawn. "Please recite your vows."

"Katie, I'd like to start out my vows by telling you that I'd rather go through the kidnapping 10 time over than to lose you again. The pain I felt when I was shot was nothing compared to the pain I felt when I lost you. I will never let you be hurt again. The only time I actually knew that I loved you was when we sang All of Me, and I knew you weren't just singing it. I knew that you meant every word. All of me belongs to you. You hold my heart in your hands, and I could care less if you were to break it, because it was only ever yours to break anyways. I love you and I'll never stop." I felt myself crying as he rubbed my hands. The priest turned to me and spoke.

"Please recite your vows," he told me. I sniffed as I tried to remember where I wanted to start.

"Shawn, you're my savior. The day you replied to my DM's saved my life. I know I sound like a fangirl right now, but only you and I would understand how deep our relationship is. You know I've never had a way with words, but I remembered what you told me when we were kidnapped, and I'll never forget it.

"I will always give you every single piece of me, and my love. When I lost you, I knew that a piece of me had been taken. I thought I was going to die. But then I heard you when you arrived here, and I felt like a patch of hot asphalt when you pour cold water on it. I sizzled and sparked to life. But the difference between me and that spot of asphalt is that I won't stop sizzling," I took a deep breath. "You told me: I've loved you ever since I laid my eyes on you. I would journey across the world to see your smile, to make you happy. If you ever left me, I would probably wither up and die, for I am as wrapped up in you as a vine that clings to a tree seeking sustenance. You have tied me to you for eternity. You're my home. You're my reason for being. To win this and be able to hold you peacefully in my arms is my only purpose." I sighed. "I honestly don't know how I managed to remember that, but I did, and I'm glad you told me that." The pastor smiled at us.

"At this time, I'll ask you, Shawn, and you, Katie, to face each other & take each other's hands." Shawn took my hands in his and I gripped his with a strength stronger than The Hulk. "Shawn, will you take Katie to be your wife, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish her friendship and love her today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor her, laugh with her and cry with her? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?" Shawn smiled at me.

"I will," Shawn said strongly. I gulped.

"Katie, will you take Shawn to be your husband, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish him friendship and love him today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor him, laugh with him and cry with him? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?" I blinked away tears.

"I will," I said proudly.

" The wedding ring symbolizes unity, a circle unbroken, without beginning or end. And today Katie Skylar and Shawn Mendes exchange these rings as confirmation of their vows to join their lives, to work at all times to create a life that is complete and unbroken and to love each other unconditionally. May the Lord bless these rings which you give to each other as the symbol of your love and fidelity." The pastor turned his attention towards Shawn.

"Take this ring and place it on your bride's finger, and state your pledge to her, repeating after me:" Shawn placed a beautiful diamond ring on my left hand.

"With this ring I thee wed.

I offer you my hand, and my heart as I know they will be safe with you.

All that I am I give to you and all that I have I share with you." Shawn repeated the pledge and squeezed my left hand gently. Then the pastor looked over to me.

"Take this ring and place it on your groom's finger, and state your pledge to him, repeating after me:" I grabbed Shawn's hand and slid a bold ring on his left hand.

"With this ring I thee wed.

I offer you my hand, and my heart as I know they will be safe with you.

All that I am I give to you and all that I have I share with you." The pastor grinned at the entire audience.

"Shawn and Katie, you have given and pledged your promises to each other, and have declared your everlasting love by exchanging the rings. Your vows may have been spoken in minutes, but your promises to each other will last until your last breath. As they have pledged themselves to meet sorrow and happiness as one family and this community of friends, I now pronounce them husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." Shawn leaned in and pulled me close. I grinned wickedly and jumped into his arms, smashing my lips against his, turning the fiery kiss into a slow passionate one. Our families cheered and I parted from him him as my face began to burn up.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Mendes."
