No one expected the skys to open up, no one expected hordes of shambling horrors to come out of the holes and no one expected them to come everywhere. Life in the universe was prosperous before they came, almost no wars were going on and wealth was plentiful.
They had no idea of the multidimensional horrors slowly shambles towards the universe untill they came. It was an amazing day on the colony of varaxis prime. The imperial army was putting on a parade, it was the Sol empires three thousandth birth day and everyone was rejoicing in celebration. When all of a sudden, a loud beeping noise started up.

The imperial commander didn't recognize it as anything the army used and he called for civilians to seek shelter.

Then it began, small, metal blades flew down, ripping apart the sky and a large amount of the army men on the ground. The beeping turned to a loud roar as massive, black and feature less ships burst through the holes the, rushing to the ground to meet there great adversary, life.
At this didn't happen just on one plant, it happened everywhere. The shear horror of the event shocked the universe, but there was no time to rebuild because the worst was yet to come.
