Felucipir Baruen was a young boy living in the streets of Scotland. His routine was normal. He acted normal, he seemed normal... As far as everyone knew... He was normal...

But he wasn't...

There was always a voice echoing at the back of his mind, his own personal poison. He named the voice Venenum... That was how much he had gotten to know his poison... But eventually, this got to be too much for him... He asked for help...

They thought he was crazy...

It didn't matter anyways... They didn't matter... He had always been strange.

Everything strange happened around him when he was mad or frustrated... It was strange... He was born to normal people in a normal town with normal things... But he felt like an outcast... Glass shattered when he was mad, doors slammed when he was frustrated... But everyone thought it was just 'the devil'

Until a woman came along and saved him...

---------

In the quiet town in Scotland, there is a quiet house, on a quiet street lay a quiet boy... He stared up at his ceiling as if he was hoping for it to crash down on him. He was listening to the voice in his head as it spoke, telling him to do horrific things... But he never did them. Felucipir Baruen was a Muggle-born... He was tired of all the quiet, all the boring, all the 'God' and all the 'Devil.'

He just wanted to be free. To spread his wings and fly away in the snap of his small, delicate fingers... August 12 was his birthday, that was tomorrow. He expected it would be a normal birthday party, the only company being his parents as he blew out the 11 candles on the small chocolate cake by himself. He had no friends, so it wasn't uncommon or sad for the boy...

11:49 p.m.

Why did he have this voice? He couldn't even tell if it was still talking. It fogged up his mind so much that Felucipir just learned to ignore it. It because he couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl... And he hated assuming things...

11:54 p.m.

'Six more minutes... Tick Tock. I bet something interesting has got to happen this time! I mean, everyone's asleep... So we can do whatever you want, Felucipir!' The voice nagged him as the echo seemed to go on forever in his mind, bouncing around his skull and only fading when the voice deemed it fit.

11:58 p.m.

Why was he still listening to them rambling on and on about everything they could do at midnight? It didn't matter anyway. Nothing was going to happen. Everything would still be normal... Boring, old, normal...

11:59 p.m.

Then, when the clock strikes midnight, he'd go to sleep and wake up in the morning... Normal and the same... Just how he liked it... Just how he hated it. He loathed it, why couldn't he just get something different? Some adventure, excitement, valour, intrigue, mischief! Why couldn't he be nor-

There was a large bang at their door...

12:00 a.m.

"Who could that be at this time of night?" He heard his mother yawn as she walked past his door, her slippers dragging ever so slightly across the hardwood and down the set of stairs connecting the upstairs from the ground floor. He decided to follow. This had to be his adventure... His calling... His reason to live! He needed to figure out who it was... He couldn't stand life without it...

His choice had nothing to do with the voice nagging his foggy mind, filling it with more than needed... Absolutely nothing...

At least...

That's what he keeps telling himself...

He could be wrong... But he wasn't... He wanted this... It wasn't influenced...

Right?

The front door opened to reveal an older woman in long emerald robes, her hat seemed like a stereotypical witches hat... Was this some sick joke? She held a scroll and smiled kindly at Felucipir.

"Felucipir Baruen... I am here to see you. You have been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, I apologize for dropping by so late like this, but it was necessary." She handed him a note with a small crest sealing the envelope... It had an 'H' on it... Probably for Hogwarts... "You're a wizard, congratulations..." He stared up at the woman, dumbfounded and confused...

WHAT THE HELL?
