C H A P T E R 1

KACE ANDERSON was already bored with his History Class, the teacher was pointing out some pictures on the board but Kace was to occupied with his idea of sleeping rather than learning.

Well that's what most of us do right?

He wasn't even a straight A student so he doesn't care if he get scolded or his grades flunked because of his attitude.

Because some teachers only care about those smart ass kids rather than helped the students who really needs attention.

"Kace, Kace!" His bestfriend Daniel Patterson nudged him trying to keep him awake and listening. Kace faced his bestfriend cocking up an eyebrow and yawning.

Daniel never has the look that says Oh hello I'm popular. Do you want to hang out? He never hanged out with anyone except Kace.

Kace on the other hand, his lack of style, grades and even athleticism made him an outcast and all I can say is. Welcome to club brother.

"What now?" He whined looking at the time. It was already 3:20 in the afternoon and this last class ends at 3:30 pm.

Only 20 minutes till class ends and he can finally go home.

"YESS!"

Daniel snapped his attention towards him and the class followed. Oops that was a little too loud. Kace meant to shout it mentally but the boring atmosphere made him open his big and noisy mouth.

Their History Teacher, Mr. Jones, looked at Kace.

"What seems to be the cause of your excitement Mr. Anderson?" Well certainly not your face. That's Mr. Howard C. Jones. A.k.a. The Bore. He was like a crossbreed between a military guy and a librarian.

Kace looked at everyone around him, somehow please to cut off the boring vibe but Mr. Jones didn't looked pleased that his class lecture was interrupted by a low grade student.

Well he doesn't like to be taught by a low grade teacher so the feeling's mutual.

"Detention Mr. Anderson"

Nothing new here. The boy literally got detention thrice a day in 5 days a week. He didn't even react to this filthy excuse of a teacher. He just wanted out of this and out of this school. *sigh* don't we all.

The bell finally rang and everyone got up and walked to the door. Kace walked towards Mr. Jones and got the detention slip that he needed for after class.

To fuel the fire that Kace was making, he walked towards him with a big fat smile on his face.

"Stop smiling Anderson or I'll remove that off you" He signed the detention slip and gave it to him. "I'll stop smiling if you stop your shitty teaching Jones" he got the slip and walked out of the classroom.

He crumpled it and kept it in his pocket. Kace put on his hoodie and walked to his next clasa which is. Gym class.

"Cheer up Kace. I'm sure coach is in a good mood today" Daniel tries everything to make his friend lighten up every single day even though he knew that his bestfriend wouldn't be happy.

They went to the lockers to change in their gym clothes and proceeded to the venue. He looked around and hoped to see her.

Yes, he's still a normal teenage boy tha has a crush on someone. Sadly for him this girl is no where near his social status in school.

We've all been there.

Blythe Carmen, though she isn't that popular like the cheerleaders over there she's still the pretty girl that has the popular boyfriend named Terrance Gale.

Their relationship was like something that came out of a romance novel where the bad boy fell for the good girl, but the good girl will never fall for the good boy.

Good guys comes last in every situation.

"Listen up! Everybody!" Terrance was wailing his throat out looking and making sure he asserts dominance over us. Well he is the football captain and the coach's son.

"My dad isn't here due to my mom, so I'm going to be your substitute for the day." he blew the whistle and clapped his hands "Line up! And give me 10 laps around the gym lets go! "

Kace eventually ran but they were stopped again by another whistle. "Ms. Carmen you stay here with me" He rolled his eyes irritatingly to see the two showing affection.

"sure thing" he didn't listen anymore and kept running 10 lapses.

"Enough being bitter Kace, let's just hope the next day it would be better for you" Daniel tried to be supportive but Kace wasn't into that kind of stuff.
