The elements

Authors note: Hi guys this is my first story so comments are much apreciated an these are my characters so I did not copy of any one else. 

       On Day in a magical Kingdom there was a worried old king who very sick and he knew he could not protect the land much sooner so he took his magical crystal amulet and broke it into four parts and held them in his palm. They began to shake and flew off to different parts of the land, one landed into the hottest Volcano know to man, one landed into the deepest part of the ocean, another one landed in the biggest forest and the last one went off into the sky. As they all flew of the king said his final words

“When the land needs protection these pieces of crystal will protect it. Fire, Water, Earth and Air” he whispered  then he closed his eyes and passed away.

A little while after the king died there were 2 evil but beautiful witches that were called Sabrina who had orange hair and tiger markings, The Other witch is called Kelly she has a dagger attached to her leg and eyes as red as blood. They heard upon the king’s death and decided that now was the time to attack so they commanded their minions to go to the castle. But who was listening to their conversation but a timid little fairy with purple flowing hair onto her shoulders and a blue tights and a black top, Her name was Crystal

“oh no what will I do the King is dead” she said nervously. As the fairy left she did not hear what Sabrina said after that

“But what about those pieces of crystal he broke did he cast some sort of spell on them?”,

“You stupid fool those will turn into elements- “what are these elements of which you speak sister” interpreted Sabrina as she said this Kelly shot her a dirty look that could break a mirror

“They are Fire, Water, Earth and Air as I was saying Elements are a powerful source of magic that can destroy you once they know how” So what will we do?” said Sabrina, Kelly thought of it for a moment then walked over to their crystal ball cast a spell that will send some of the most dangerous creatures to attack them. They both laughed so hard that the forest shook with danger.     

Meanwhile The Crystal amulets began to shake violently and started to shoot towards the middle of the ground in the same place. Then the Crystals exploded then turned into 4 blonde haired girls, one was called Kristy and she was wearing a black skirt that the tips were like it was on fire and her shirt was black with a fireball in the middle and marking on her wrist. The other one was called Stephanie a and she was wearing a blue skirt and a water coloured top with ripple water markings on her arms. The other one was called Taylor and she was wearing a moss green top and longish skirt with daisies in her hair and vines wrapped around her ankles and a black marking on her arm and leg. The final one called Cloe which she was wearing a pinkish whitish skirt and top with a gold belt and air markings all over her. But they all each had one of the four pieces of crystal around their neck.  Their eyes matched what there element was: orange of fire, blue for water, green for earth and pink for air.

As the fairy saw the girls she hid in an old nearby moss covered tree log,

“Where are we?” said Cloe who was the element of Air “We apparently are in some sort of kingdom” said Stephanie the element of water.

“Well who ever lives here we should ask them how we got here” exclaimed Kristy the element of fire, and Taylor the element of earth just nodded in agreement because she was taken aback by the beauty of the old mossy castle.

As the girls climbed the old cracked steps they came upon four guards that were guarding what seemed like an old jewelled crown resting on a red silk pillow, so the girls walked up with caution for they have never seen guards before. As one of the guards noticed the girl’s presence he drew his sword and soon followed by the other guards with quick thinking Kristy cast a ball of fire at the guards and it knocked the sword out of his hand and they look really frightened.“I don’t know who you girls are but you are trespassing on royal property” almost shouted the guard

“I am Kristy and these are my sisters Stephanie, Taylor and Cloe and we are elements of fire, Water, earth and air and we were wondering if you could help us we are lost and – “Wait did you say elements” said another guard still looking a bit pale in the face “um yes we are have you heard of us”, “I have you were the things that the king sent out to protect the kingdom we are honoured to be in your presence” bowed the guard and quickly followed the him. As the guard told the girls about the last words of the king and the fear of an attack the girls agreed to help so they walked out to the court yard to see a really huge black cloud smothering the blue sky, “Hey are we getting a strum or something” asked Taylor “That’s not a storm cloud, it looks like bats?” said Cleo who was definitely confused.
