"Mar Mar!" shouted Ari as she grabbed Marlins arm and hauled her off of the couch in the Gryffindor common room.
"What is it Ari, I'm trying to read." explained Marlin who indeed did have a book stuck to her face.
"Guess what?!" but before Marlin could say 'what' Ari continued excitedly yelling. "I found a..." Ari leaned in and whisper-yelled in Marlin's ear, "a secret passage!"
"Whelp, there goes my hearing. Are you serious?" said Marlin with a questioning look in her blue eyes.
"No, I'm not Sirius. I'm Ari." replied Ari who looked extremely confused, as per usual.
"Ari that's not what I was..." Marlin stopped talking when she saw that Ari was getting distracted. "Never mind, you were saying something about a secret passage?"
As if the phrase "secret passage" was a trigger, Ari started jumping up and down. "We need to go to the library!"
"Wait, is the secret passage in the library?" questioned Marlin who looked intrigued yet a little anxious about the idea of exploring a secret passage. "You'll see when we get there! Come on, lets go! It's the perfect time seeing as we have a free period!" shouted Ari as she dragged Marlin out of the Gryffindor common room.
As the two girls made their way to the library, Marlin couldn't shake the feeling that they were being followed. So she voiced her thoughts.
"Ari, I think someone's following us." Ari stopped and looked at Marlin.
"Cool, it could be a ghost! I mean Hogwarts does have ghosts. Or, even better maybe it's...Remus Lupin! Maybe he's come to sweep you off your feet and propose!" Ari said all this while laughing.
"WHAT?! No!" said Marlin, who was totally blushing.
Ari who ignored Marlin's response, kept talking. "You sooooo like him! Look your even blushing! You have to let me plan the wedding!"
"Oh, you're one to talk about blushing! What about Sirius? He's always making you blush." Replied Marlin with a satisfied smirk on her face upon seeing Ari's reaction.
Ari was flabbergasted "I...ahh! I don't like him. I mean he is sort of cute but he's just so...."
But before Ari could finish what she was saying a voice interrupted her
"Sort of cute? Sweet checks I'll have you know that I am drop dead gorgeous!" It was none other than the very person they were talking about.
Sirius and James (aka black hair and glasses) seemed to appear out of nowhere.
"Sorry for interrupting, you were saying something?" said Sirius as he flipped his black hair and looked at Ari.
"I...um was going to say," Ari began getting red in the face "how you're so... frustrating!"
"Oh, Darling... what kind of 'frustrating'?" Sirius asked with a glint in his eyes.
Ari's eyes widened as she turned beet red.
"Aw, your so cute when you get all 'frustrated' at me" said Sirius who booped Ari on the nose.
Ari's frustration had started bubbling into anger.
"Did you just boop me on the nose? You just booped me on the nose?! That is so unfair! That's my thing, you can't do my thing!" ranted Ari.
Before things could get to out of hand. Marlin changed the subject and asked the guys.
"Were you two following us?" She said all this as she glared at the two of them.
"Look babe, I don't know what your talking about, we just happened to be here." said Sirius with a wink at Marlin who, began to get red in the face, and mumbled "Don't call me 'babe'.
