Why Him? [ Bakugo x Midoriya ]

It was a morning like no other. I was awoken by the annoying sound of my beeping alarm clock. With my hands I rubbed into my sleepy eyes. I stood up and walked to the bathroom to take a shower and dress myself. As I was putting my uniform on I noticed so piece if paper in the right pocket of my uniforms jacket. I recognized Bakugo's handwriting. The note was saying:

Meet me at 7:50 in the park and don't be late!

I looked at the time, it was 7:15 so I still had some time to eat something. I didn't want to let Bakugo down because then he would be mad. Why does he even want to meet me in the park. Did I do something wrong. Oh no he's probably going to kill me. I looked at the time again but now the clock said 7:30. Oh no I'm going to be late. I ran into the living room, grabbed to piece of bread that my mom prepared for me took my bag and ran of.

"I'm late, I'm late... he's gonna kill me." I mumbled. When I arrived at the park it was 7:51. Bakugo was sitting on one of the swings. It reminded me of when we were kids. I smiled and ran towards him. "WHY ARE YOU SMILING NERD?" he screamed when he saw me. "N... nothing!" I answered scared. I'm so dead. "Oi, Deku!" He plainly said. "Y... yes Kacchan what is it? Why did you want to see me?" I asked to make it seem like I wasn't scared. "Can I have your notes from last week you need. I was recovering from that fight with All Might, so I couldn't take any notes in class." He said. Phew! So he's not going to kill me. "Y... yeah sure." I gave him my notebook.

I looked at the time it was 8:00. "Euhm K... Kacchan?" I asked scared for his reaction. "WHAT NERD!" He said with this annoyed tone in his voice. "W... we should get going or else we'll be late." I said. "FINE LET'S JUST GO YOU NERD. This is the first and the last time I'm walking to school with you you hear me Deku?" He said with casual tone in his voice. I nodded.

We arrived in school just on time. Uraraka immediately ran in my direction. "DEKU-KUN YOU CAME! I thought you were sick or something... Why are you so late Deku-kun?" She questioned me. I looked in Bakugo's direction his face told me not to say anything about our meeting this morning. "I just slept trough my alarm clock that's all." I answer lying.

The first half of the day looked like it was going on forever. After that the day went by fast. We had hero practice with All Might the symbol of peace. It was allot of fun to have him as a teacher. My quirk evolved a lot since I got it and started to go to the U.A. I could only use 5% of One For All but it was still so strong and hard to control. After class All Might wanted to see me. I didn't know why but it must be important. So I went to see him after class.

"AHHH young Midoriya my child." He said. He was still in his strong form but there was steam coming from his body. Meaning he was going to change in his weak form any second. "A... All Might why did you want to see me sir." I said. He suddenly transformed [a/n: more like inflated.]. "Midoriya my time in my strong from is getting shorter everyday. This means you have to work even harder so you can step into my footsteps as the new symbol of peace." He said plainly. I just nodded while he continued his speech. "By the end of the year I'll have no time left and I'll have to step down from my title. I know it's fast and you are far from ready yet but I believe in you Midoriya." He said with the same tone like it was not a big deal. While I was in shock, he kept smiling. "I knew that day would come, but I didn't know it would come so fast." I said with a scared tone.

That day wasn't like everyday at all. It was worse! It was by far one of the worst days in my life. Knowing All Might is going to retire by the end of this year. Knowing it's going to be my time to take his place. TO SOON THIS ALL IS COMING TO SOON. I hope tomorrow won't be so bad as today. Little did I know what would happen the next day...
