Léna

"Eli, can you get the soil!?" I called out to him as I stood by the empty flower baskets around the balcony outside my room. Elijah came up a few moments later with two bags of soil over his shoulder, Alaric came up following him with the other two.

"Thank you" I grinned when they placed the bags put beside my feet. Elijah nodded at me.

"If you need anything, just call me" He said genuinely before walking out the door. Alaric stayed with me however.

"Want a hand?" He asked, his rough and deep voice bouncing in and out of the empty plot plants. I smiled at him, remembering the times him, my mama and I used to spend out in the garden. Even though he looks like the type that would tear a rose garden apart, he quite enjoyed gardening and did it to keep me and my mother happy. I was surprised also as he distanced himself from me and won't look me in the eyes anymore. I'm guessing it's the resemblance between me and mother but I wouldn' question him on it. He was always a mama's boy.

"Definitely" I said. I saw his lips twitch up for a spilt second until they turned to their usual straight line. Doing this with Alaric also reminded me of what the hooded guy said yesterday in Blooming Petals. I don't think he intended on telling me that, but he did, so it's his loss, but also mine cause I was actually nice to him.

Whoops.

It was getting later as we could see the sun setting behind the large trees in the back garden. Me and Alaric continued to pour the fresh soil into the baskets and pots and adding the seeds.

"Your whole balcony is going to be smothered in roses, Léna" Alaric commented and followed it with a deep and unfamiliar rumble from his chest.

"I know, I can't wait" I squealed. The thought of watching the sun rise and set in the distance while being surrounded by the beautiful flower makes me jump with excitement.

We went back to creating the beautiful project in peace until Alaric asked a question that I didn't think he'd ask aloud. I always knew it stayed on his mind, as it did with the rest of my brothers, but Alaric was the only one who wouldn't ask me about it.

"So, uh, is there any boys bothering you?" He stuttered awkwardly. I'm guessing that was one of the reasons he never asked me it, he was too afraid of the wrong answer but also never played the protective brother role. Seeing as I'm his evil younger sister, I had the take the opportunity for this once in a life time experience and tease him a tiny bit.

"Perhaps, would you tell Levi if there was?" I asked casually as I busied my self with the sewing. He stopped covering the seeds with the soil for a second but then continued.

"It depends if I get to meet him first" He said sternly and I knew he didn't like how this was going. Seeing as Alaric isn't Luka or Líon, I didn't want to mess with him anymore as I enjoy being around his calm self rather than their hyperactive childish selves.

"I'm only pulling your leg, the closest I've got to a guy with the four of them was this guy who wears a hood and Lúka and Líon are convinced he's dangerous" I told him. From the corner of my eye I saw his shoulders visibly slump in relief and I smiled at the gesture.

"But they all wore hoods" He stated and I could imagine him rolling his eyes. "Exactly" I exasperated and he let out a breathing chuckle. I glanced at him before speaking again.

"He kind of reminds me of you" I told him casually. I could feel his eyes on the side of my head but I continued what I was doing.

"Why?" He asked coldly. I shrugged.
