Personality: Marjorie is a very independent person. She's had to go through a lot, despite not being a greaser and having it relatively good (though not rich enough to be considered a Soc). Her mother is an alcoholic and is always drinking, while her father died before Marjorie can really remember. Unlike most people of her class, she shows compassion for the Greasers, and is considered one of their allies. She is considered an outcast by the Socs due to her family situation. Marjorie is a bit of a romantic, and can be quite curious. She and Ponyboy are very close.
