Summer. A time of peace and relaxation. No distractions. No schoolwork. Nothing could ever potentially ruin the feeling of serenity she would feel burying her head in a book and completely leaving planet earth.
That's what Patsy thought until something changed her mind, or should I say... Someone.
Thomas, the silent musician, the cute soccer player, one of the only people of his age to memorize all the bones of the body, was ecstatic. He thought the summer after his senior year of high school would be a blast. A rite of passage, some may say. He thought that travelling all the way to the Philippines with his two best friends would be the greatest experience of his life.
That was until he laid eyes on her, the complete game changer, "Ms. Plot Twist".
The continuous beach hopping, The countless awkward silences, and glasses and glasses of filipino "Halo-Halo" will permanently change the way they see the world.
