I stayed up late that night trying to figure out ways to annoy Elliot. I decided on just talking a lot, because if he can annoy me by talking way too much, I bet I can do the same to him. When I woke up to my alarm the next morning, I showered and got ready for school before going down stairs. My parents were surprised because they usually have to wake me up, but this time I got down at the time they usually want me down to eat breakfast at.

"Uh, Liv?" My mother questioned, as I walked over and grabbed a bowl for my cereal.

"Yes?" I questioned, and she eyed me as I walked over to the cabinet.

"What are you doing up? We haven't came to wake you up yet." She spoke, and I nodded as I poured the cereal into my bowl.

"I was planning last night, and I'm excited to execute my plans." I spoke, before grabbing the milk. My parents continued to watch me as I finished making my breakfast, and then they eyed me as I sat down at the table with them.

"Plans?" My father asked.

"I'm going to annoy Elliot until he leaves me alone."

"Be-"

"Dad, you told me to do it, so don't tell me not to!" I exclaimed, and my mother took her eyes away from me and directed them at my father.

"Donald, what did you do?" She whispered, and he shrugged as he took a long drink from his mug.

"I just gave our daughter some advice."

When I climbed out of my mother's car, Elliot was climbing out of his mother's car.

"Hey, Benson-Cragen!" He exclaimed, and I had to try and stay calm enough so I didn't punch him again.

"Hey, Stabler! How was your night? Did you get your homework done? What are you having for lunch, huh?" I blurted, and he stopped in his spot and eyed me.

"Uh, why are you talking so much?" He asked, as he started to walk again.

"I always talk this much, Elliot. Stabler. What are your nicknames?" I questioned, quicker then before and he just smiled at me.

"Nice try, Olivia." He grinned, as he grabbed my arm and pulled me along next to him.

"What?" I questioned.

"You can't get rid of me, Olivia. I'm here to annoy you forever." He smiled, and I stopped walking as I started to dig the toe of my high top into the dirt.

"Do you love me?" I asked, going straight into the other part of the scenario that my father brought up.

"Love you? Why would I love you? I just want to be your friend because I like annoying you." He smirked, and I nodded slowly.

"Good, because I could never love someone as annoying as you." I replied, as I started to walk again.

"Maybe one day you'll love me!" He exclaimed, as he ran to catch up with me.

[*]

For the first week of Elliot being at my school, he annoyed me, but then by Friday I realized that under all of the annoying he loved to do, he was pretty funny and he also was one of the only people who talks to me.

"Wanna just come over tonight? Instead of going home right away?" I asked, as I tossed my bag over my shoulder as I stood next to Elliot's locker

"What would we do?" Elliot asked, as he pulled his lunch box out and smelt what was in it, before tossing it back into his locker.

"Dude, throw that away for one. And for two, we could study and maybe play basketball or something? My Dad just put up a hoop."

"That sandwich is still good. I swear. Try it." He smiled, as he pulled it out and shoved it towards me, but I pushed it back towards him.

"No, throw it away." I urged, and he sighed.

"Okay, I'll throw it away. But tell me the truth about something." He spoke, as we walked towards the trashcan together.

"I've never told you anything but truthful things." I spoke, and he laughed.

"Yeah right. Girls lie, a lot." He smirked, and I punched him in his arm again, and he groaned.

"Right on the last bruise you gave me." He grimaced.

"So what do you need to know?" I spoke, as we started towards the stairs together.

"Oh, yeah. Kinda got sidetracked because you were beating me." He smirked, and I rolled my eyes.

"Can you just tell me? So I know what to tell my mother when we get to the car." I spoke, and he sighed.

"Have you ever played basketball in your life? Do you even own a basketball?" He questioned, as he ran his hands through his thick brown hair.

"I kick ass at basketball. Just ask my Dad. We play at the precinct all the time, and I take all of them." I smirked, and he nodded as he stayed quiet.

"Elliot?" I mused, and he sighed as we got to the bottom of the stairs.

It all happened so quickly, but he shoved his lips against mine, only after less then a week of knowing each other.

[*]

I withdrew my offer about Elliot coming over and hanging out, because he made me uncomfortable.

I didn't want him to kiss me, because I didn't like him in that way, but maybe he does now. Let alone the fact we have only been friends for 5 days, and he told me before that he didn't like me.

"How was school?" My mother asked, as Elliot and I sat in silence as she drove.

"It was okay." I huffed, as I crossed my arms over my chest and looked out the window at the quickly moving landscape.

"Bean, are you alright?" She questioned, and Elliot started to laugh.

"What's so funny?" My mother asked, and Elliot grinned.

"You call her bean?" He laughed, and I turned to look at him.

"Stop being such a jerk, Elliot." I huffed, and he frowned.

"Liv-"

"Don't call me Liv! I hate you for kissing me, and you can never make it up to me!" I cried, before leaning my head against the window as tears ran down my cheeks.
