Neal: Let's Talk About Sex Baby

Your friends had plan a mid day baby shower for Neal and you. It was supposed to be a surprise but Mozzie spoiled it after dinner one day, with several glasses of whine on him. Neal was even more excited for it than you were, your friends' husbands were the only friends (apart from Mozz) he had off work.

It had been a very long time since you all got together. The last reunion was for the christening of Carla's baby who nowadays was two and a half. Some didn't even attended the christening and you hadn't seen them since your marriage. Mozzie had told you they were all expected to come and most had confirmed their attendance.

You were looking out the window of the apartment you two shared, suddenly you felt Neal's arms around you. He placed his hand over your belly, yours moved over his. So many things had happened in that apartment, in there you had met, dated, spent whole nights talking, fell in love, had sex... Time seemed to stop when you were around him. It felt like all that had happened a day ago but you actually had married Neal two years ago now. The baby growing inside you was product of the true love you had for each other.

Neal was excited for "his little girl to come out" and won't stop talking about how amazing your life's will be with her. In the last doctor appointment you two decided only your friends will know the sex of the baby. That way the surprise will be for you only, and you wouldn't have to go around telling each friend what it was. He was sure it was a girl, you weren't sure of anything but wanted it to be a girl too.

After almost half an hour in that position, it was time to leave for the shower. Peter picked you up and drove you there, Neal seemed so happy

"Remember you have to fake surprise" you whispered. El had invited you for "lunch" and he acted as if he suspected nothing about the true reason El had invited you two over. Once you arrived, Peter took you to the backyard, all your friends came out of hiding and yelled "Surprise!" Neal's face was priceless.

Mozzie came out from behind a bush and took a picture of you. He broke into laughter at Neal's reaction, then you two went around thanking all your friends for the surprise. Lunch was a BBQ and Peter was cooking, his ribs were amazing and after you finished eating, El brought out the cake.

It had the words: "Let's Talk About Sex Baby" in fondant and was decorated with baby stuff. Everyone clapped and screamed, then Caleb, (who was your best friend's husband) placed you in front of it. Mozz took another picture of you two with the cake and then they asked you to cut the first piece. You knew what was coming, you had seen it in every movie that involved a shower.

The color of the cake was the sex of the baby. It was a nice surprise to tell you during the shower. Even if you wanted to know the moment you gave birth, the idea of knowing now with the cake also meant the world to you. Neal took the knife with doubt and looked at you, you grabbed his hands and smiled. When it reached the bottom of it and you took it out, Neal yelled.

Pink crumbles of cake came out with the knife, Neal will have his little girl after all.

"Wait, it's not over yet" yelled El, she pointed the left corner of the cake "Cut over here".

You grabbed the knife from an excited Neal and cutted through the assigned part. The crumbles that came out where light blue, you were confused. After a couple of second you got it, you where having twins! Neal was distracted telling all his friends he knew it was going to be a girl.

"Honey..." you called with a happy smile, he looked at you, at the knife and then back to your eyes. He also took a second to realize what you were trying to tell him, then he grabbed you off the floor and gave you a loving kiss.

All your friends cheered for you and congratulated the new parents. You couldn't believe you were having twins, you felt so happy, this meant having the baby girl you wanted so bad, plus a beautiful baby boy you had only dreamed about.

Neal whispered "We're so lucky honey" and kissed your cheek, you told him you knew and smiled as big as you could.
