"Ah...man, you'd think these guys would learn already. What with seeing their compadres behind bars an all but, Spidey's gotta do what Spidey's gotta do I guess!" Peter says as the mask slides down, covering his face. With the window open and curtains slightly blowing from the howling New York wind, he once again sets off on another nightly patrol. An acrobatic leap sends him skyward into the starry abyss above, then deep down below into the concrete playground with fire escapes as the monkey bars and elongated construction cranes with the ominous label "FISK" as the city's swing set.

With an aggressive turn followed by a powerful web-zip, he propels himself forward around the corner of a large building, swinging steadily with the momentum produced. "This is definitely something I will never get tired of... I mean like, who would?" Peter strafes to the left to see the crime taking place he saw on the television just moments ago. "Don't like the fact that this is happening so close to May's place. Don't like it one bit." He whispers. He lands softly on the edge of the building adjacent to the store being robbed before crashing the thugs' parade. "Fellas Fellas! You boys here to issue out a bank statement? Or maybe coming to get your paycheck? If so, register's right behind you." Peter snags two bags full of cash with his webs and yanks it out of their hands with ease. "Like taking candy from two adult men who have nothing better to do!" As he loses these words, he can't help but examine the eyes of the men robbing the place. Peter looks closer, the lenses of his mask widening a bit. He can't help but notice the whites of their eyes, their brows furrowed and foreheads covered in sweat. They did nothing but stand there, literally shaking in their boots as their lips quivered. It simply spelled "Fear".

"Spider-Man please, help us. Please help." The leader of the group ever so slightly yells at Pete. "What's going on here?" Peter responds, an expression of concern appears underneath the mask. "Can't talk, just please help us out-"His sentence was instantly cut short as they suddenly started convulsing. Their entire bodies began twitching and aching violently as the seconds pass by. Before Peter could get another word out, a small explosion of red smoke surrounds him and the rest of the robbers collapse like a stack of unorganized dominoes.

Something was clearly wrong, but then again, what isn't wrong in the streets of NYC? "Damn, did HE really escape...?" Before Peter could think of any of the possible ways this villain could have escaped, they show up right on time to the party. "Normy, Halloween's not until next year and you're STILL wearing that same red get-up? Talk about a much-needed wardrobe change." Peter quickly clenches his fists in anticipation for whatever happens next. "PARKER! Don't get too full of yourself you sad excuse of a spider, the last time our fight ended on a sour note. Honest, I wasn't myself, wasn't at my full potential. Now? Now I'm completely in sync with this red hot symbiote. Completely in control! Which means your death is inevitable Parker!! Let's get this party started..."

"How the heck did he get the carnage symbiote back? I thought that thing disappeared?!" Peter asks himself as he leaps into the air and begins to swing towards him. He sends a devastating punch right into the Red Goblin's jaw, staggering him and causing his glider to sway heavily. Red Goblin spins around and sees Peter perched upon the edge of the building in front and immediately pulls out two handfuls of laughing grenades. Much like his sinister smile and bloodlust, the grenades that flew at Peter chuckled with the same tenacity. In a swift and seamless motion, he performs a corkscrew with ease, flipping past the grenades and the Red Goblin and quickly snagging both bombs with his webs; throwing them back at Norman while attaching to a distant building. "Get back here PARKER!!!!" Red Goblin shrieks in a furious anger, his voice mixed with the grim life force of Carnage produced a voice that only a demon could enjoy. He flies after Peter, initiating a deadly chase of Cat and Mouse. Their speed increased as the night went on, with police on the ground and helicopters in the air, everyone turned their TV's to the local NYC news to see the harrowing sight. "Spider-Man spotted, Red Goblin has returned?" Plastered across all outlets of media. "Gotta get him away from the public, lower the risk of any casualties." Peter says to himself as. Norman loses another cluster of laughing grenades at Peter's backside; his spider sense tingles as they home in on him, giving Peter the opportunity to pull himself upward into the air. Goblin rushes forward with increased speed and catches his prey as he lingers in the air for a second too late. "How about we take a quick DIVE?!" Norman's newfound strength allows him to throw Peter down into lit crevasse below, sending flying at inhuman speed. Within milliseconds Peter attempts an aerial recovery by attaching to a nearby building but fumbles, dodging some unaware New Yorkers and skimming against the pavement; crashing into the side of a small convenience store. "Man, I remember when I had that kinda power from Venom. Crazy what a little teeny tiny jolt of alien juice can do to ya." He turns his head to see the store clerk flabbergasted. "Oh hey, you uh- you should probably get out quickly it's dangerous here!" As Peter gets back up on his feet, his senses go off yet again. He sees the glider fly straight at him and without hesitation dodges its almost fatal surprise attack by sticking upon the ceiling. "You know the phrase, "History repeats itself?" Peter drops back onto the floor only to be met with a quick punch to the back. "Come here bug brain! We got unfinished business." Red Goblin exclaims. As Peter turns, he sees Norman shift his left hand into a weaponized blade, an axe took place of his hand and without delay, he reels back and swings at him with finesse.
