Many years ago, before humans were on Earth, there were dragons. Gigantic, beautiful beasts were roaming this very planet. There are about 7,500+ breeds of dragons and new ones are being discovered every day. In this chapter, I will tell you how to get your very own dragon if you were planning on getting one.

Before you get a dragon, you should consider a few things such as: do you have enough space for a full grown dragon? Will you be able to give it all the care and attention it needs? Do you have enough time to train it? Will you feed it enough food every day? Dragons require a whole lot of work, especially the young ones. If you have the space, food, and time for it, you are ready to get a dragon.

Here is one way you can get a dragon. Ask a local dragon breeder for an egg. They will know the breed of dragon, but not the gender. You can also find and abandoned egg. Although this is one of the hardest ways, you might be able to find one. You just have to look around your house, a park, or any other places. I found my first dragon egg in my closet. NEVER should you steal a dragon egg from a nest. The mother could possibly get really angry and maybe even burn a house down. Dragons that have nests and eggs are really protective to keep their young alive. You shouldn't just take a full grown dragon either. They are very hard to train and befriend. If you get a dragon egg, some take a while to hatch. You should always be there for its hatching because it will think the first person it sees is its mom. Make sure to be gentle with the baby dragon and give it a nice place to sleep. I made a tiny nest out of pillows and blankets for mine. Now you know how to get your very own dragon and to be there for its hatching, next you have to learn how to train it.
