Chapter 8

Green could feel Blue tense up at the sight of Misty and Red. Green quickly looked over at her to see Blue ready to cover Yellow's from a horrible sight. He grabbed her hand from underneath the table and held it in a "stay calm" manner. Blue's expression did not change but Green could tell she did calm down.

The words and expression that came from Yellow surprised the two. "Hey red, hey Misty",She said smiling, and it wasn't a her polite smile, or her forced smile. It was a genuine smile.

"Hey Yellow",Both said smiling back. Blue stared at Yellow as she made conversation with the couple. Yellow looked so relax, she could tell Yellow still had feelings for Red, but her expression seemed so calm. Blue stared at her and inwardly gasped. Yellow's eyes were slightly red, like she had been crying before. Maybe that's why she seemed so relax when talking to Misty and Red.

Blue elbowed Green slightly and nodded her head at Yellow. Green only nodded as if saying "i know". Blue frowned slightly, Yellow cried and Blue wasn't there for her.

"Hey blue?",Red said looking at her. Blue blinked a couple of times and noticed Red, Misty and Yellow looking at her. "You okay?",Yellow asked frowning.

Blue narrowed her eyes at Yellow a bit. Who was SHE to ask if she was okay? Why couldn't Yellow ask that herself? Blue sighed and smiled. "Yeah, im fine! Just thinking about a few things. Anyway did you need something Red?",She asked.

Red shook his head "no...we were just saying bye but you seemed spaced out",he said, his voice dripping with worry. Blue shook her head "oh im fine...you guys should go though, don't wanna interrupt your date",she said faking her playfulness.

Misty blushed and looked away "i-it's not a-",She began but was cut off when Yellow smiled. "You guys should get going, your plans may get delayed if you stay here"

Misty blinked and nodded "right...let's go red",she said walking off. Red looked at Yellow for a few seconds before following misty.  Yellow blinked, confused. Red seemed like he wanted to tell her something but stopped himself.

"How strange",she mumbled before turning to Blue and Green. Blue wanted to ask Yellow about her eyes but she knew Yellow would try to dodge the question so she dropped the subject. For now.

When school came by again, everything was normal until Yellow went to her trainer's class.
Everything seemed normal when Red followed Yellow towards the benches.

"Hey Yellow...I've been meaning to talk to you...",Red said rubbing his neck nervously. "Red!!",Misty called. "Wait just a minute misty!",Red answered turning to her then looking back at Yellow.

"Look..i took what you said into consideration...and I'm planning to spend more time with misty, so i won't be able to sit here with you anymore..im really sorry",Red said frowning. Yellow stared at red for a few seconds before a small smile formed, a polite smile.

"It's alright red, go ahead and be with misty. I'll be fine here with ChuChu",She said looking at her mouse pokemon who was asleep.
"Again..I'm..really sorry",Red sighed as he got up and went to misty.

Yellow kept smiling. Her smile never faltered as she pet ChuChu.
'ChuChu was right...if i was going to cry about it later i should've kept my mouth shut',she thought. Despite her thoughts, her smile never faltered.

"You need to stop hiding how you feel with a dumb smile you know",A familiar voice said in a annoyed tone. Yellow didn't have to look at him to know who it was.

"I know...",Yellow said still smiling. Shiro sighed and watched Red and Misty, they looked like they were having fun. They were laughing with misty blushing here and there thanks to red's compliments. Shiro raised an eyebrow as he realized something.

He shook his head and turned to Yellow "so you gonna keep smiling like an idiot? Or you wanna talk about your feelings like last time"

Yellow shook her head "i'd rather talk about something that doesn't involve my feelings",she said making a face. Shiro nodded and laid back.

"So, what did you say to Red? Last I saw he was so hellbent on making sure you didn't get 5 feet near me",Shiro said as Yellow looked at him. "He...came for the advice the day i saw you in the forest. Misty had been neglected so much so i suggested he spend time with her...and that included school hours",Yellow says looking at the ceiling with shiro.

"Hm....well one thing is for sure. He's an idiot",Shiro said as he looked at the ceiling as well. Yellow looked at him "how come?",She asked tilting her head. Shiro looked over at her and sighed "keep acting cute and you won't be the only one with a crush" he said. Yellow blinked, a few seconds later a small blush appeared "w-wait, what?!"

Shiro looked back up at the ceiling "wow, did you know the ceiling is actually cleaner than the floor?",he asked. "Shiro what did you mean by that!!!",Yellow asked still blushing.

"I don't know...what DID it sound like?",Shiro asked looking at her. Yellow glared at him a bit, her face turning back to its normal shade.

"That's not funny shiro...",She mumbled as she looked at Red and Misty. Shiro looked over at her and looked at Red and Misty.

"If you REALLY like him....i may have an idea on how to see if he likes you back",Shiro said after a few minutes. Yellow smiled weakly "yes...because a boy who's dating a girl would date someone
He thinks is a boy",Yellow says.

"Ever heard of bisexual?"

"You know what i mean"

"True. But we can always try making him jealous. Tell him you're a girl, he'll start seeing you in a different light. Start hanging around me, if he gets jealous its proof he likes you if he doesn't it means he's dead set on misty"

"..that..doesn't seem fair at all shiro"

"When is it ever fair when it comes to crushes?"

"But...it feels wrong. Misty was with Red first i can't just come in all of a sudden and try to take him from her! Look at how happy they are together",Yellow says looking at the two.

"Not quite...if you notice Misty is the one blushing and acting all girly. There is something i realized about red since i started talking to you though",Shiro says leaning forward.

"Which is?",Yellow asked looking at him.

"He keeps staring at you and...he never once blushed around Misty."
