Ravan walked through Tyler's door.
Tyler ran to him, concerned.
"Rav, why is your face blistering?! What happened??"
The winged boy kissed him.
"It's all fine. Whatever happened, it's all fine."
"Ravan, what did you-"
"Nothing. There's nothing to say or do anymore."

A week later after the incident, Tokoyami stood in the pouring rain.
His fingers brushed along the top of the headstone.
"You were a beautiful human", he said solemnly as the rain matted his feathers to his head, "A beautiful light in a world of colorful souls."
He knelt down, placing the flowers on the grave.
"You will be dearly missed, dear."
Footsteps sounded behind him.
"Listen, you can't do this every time we visit the graveyard."
Tokoyami smiled. "I have to pay my respects."
Kitsune wiped off her glasses, perching the jar of dirt she had on the sling of her broken arm.
"Do you even know them?", she asked.
"Do I need to?"
The girl laughed and kissed his wet cheek.
"You're an odd one, Toko-chan."
Tokoyami wrapped his arm around her waist as they strolled out of the graveyard gates.
Ravan had ceased to mess with them after the attack. Rumor had it that him and Tyler were now dating.
But Tokoyami didn't care about them.
He was glad she survived the fall.
"I love you, Kitsune", he said quietly, not realizing he had said it out loud.
Kitsune chuckled and leaned against him.
"I love you too, Fumi."
Kitsune Kousaki.
All that matters.
His light.
His everything.
She was with him.
Forever.
