Before:

Beep. Beep. Beep. It was an annoying continous sound that was going off in my ear. I tried to move my body but it seem unresponsive. I opened my eyes, blinking to the bright light burning my eyes. I closed them again, opening them slowly. My vision was met with white. White walls. White celling. White blanket. White bed. White Floors. All of this white was hurting my head. I cringed when I turned my head, a sharp pain shooting from my shoulder. I moved my head slowly, to see that the beeping sound was my heart beat coming from the monitor. I was in the hospital. The beeping starting to increase as I felt myself start to panic. What happened? A nurse with dark blue scrubs rushed into the room. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a bun. "You're awake." She said. How long had I been asleep. She rushed out of the room, coming back in with a tall male doctor. "Ahh, you are awake." He boasted. He stepped towards him, his cold hands touching my face as he flashed his flash light in my eyes. "Riley, I am Doctor Nelson. Do you know what happened to you?" He asked casually. I opened my mouth to speak but my voice came out groggy. "No." I whispered. He nods, looking over at the nurse. "Will you get her some water. Then inform her parents that she is awake. I'll take her vitals." Doctor Nelson said. The nurse nodded, handed me a small paper cup, with water. I lifted my arms but they felt shaky, as I slowly drank the water. Doctor Nelson took my blood pressure and listened to my breathing. He stepped back, clasping his hand. "Do you know what year this is?" He asked. "2014." I whispered. He smiles, but it quickly disappeared. "Ms. Clark, you were in a car accident two weeks ago. Your car was hit by a pick up truck which hit the driver side of the door were you were sitting." He explained. I nod, slowly. "You have a broken, foot. A few fractured ribs and a few cuts and bruises. Luckily there was no permanent or international damaged one. We would like to run a few tests on you before you have to leave." He said. I tried to wrap my brain around it. Then it all came flooding back. The fight. The break up. Before the crash. "You will have to wear a boot for a while." He said. My mom and dad rushed into the room. Tears were streaming down my mom's face. My dad looked like he hadn't slept. They both rushed me, kissing my cheek. "I'm so glad your okay." My mom whispered softly.
