The four stayed for one night in the forest. Mia woke up early and she was thinking about her parents. It was weird, because back in the Fire Nation, she did not do that. She was trying to remember how her father looked like. A tall, thin man with round glasses and a hat. And her mother, a healer, also called the Red Lady, was fair with dark red hair and blue eyes. If there was blood of someone in the flames, she could see it's future, she could see in the flames what would happen. She remembered one time, her mother during the eclipse, became as hot as a fireball. Her eyes set fire and when she took a deep breathe her body was on fire. She always told Mia that she would get that as well. A boost of energy. Mia never thought about it, except now. She reached to her neck, but there was no necklace.
"Where's Momo?" Aang asked and Mia looked up. "Are you okay?" Sokka asked. Mia frowned, "of course, it is early. I just wasn't fully awake yet." She replied with a smile. The four heard some animal shrieks and they followed the sounds. "Up there!" Mia said and she pointed up, and between two trees, high up the sky three cages were hanging there with Momo, captured in one of them. Aang made his way up one tree and released Momo. When he got down, he heard the crying sounds of the two monkeys that were captured in the two others. "Alright." Aang said and he jumped up the tree. He was struggling with geting the rope lose and Mia sighed. She shot a very thin thread of fire up, and it cut through the ropes. the cages fell down and with a loud bang they broke apart and the monkeys quickly made their way out.
Sokka was looking at the cages. "ugh...," he mumbled,"what?" Mia asked already annoyed.
"These cages are made by the Fire Nation." He replied. Mia sighed and she looked around her. The trees were tall, very tall. The leafs were orange, yellow, red and brown, and when there was a soft wind, the leafs fell down on the soft ground.
"We better get up and pack and get moving on." Sokka said.
The four did, and when Mia wanted to handle Aang (who sat in the saddle) the package over, Sokka interrupted: "Uh-uh, no flying this time." He said with his arms crossed over his chest.
"Why wouldn't we fly?" Aang asked confused.
"Think about it: how does Prince Zuko and the Fire Nation keep finding us? It's because they spot Appa, he's to big and noticable." Sokka said.
Mia smiled. "Appa is not to noticable!" Katara replied alarmed.
"Look, my instinct says we should better walk this time." Sokka said airy."You are not the boss or something..." Katara said with one eyebrow ifted.
"I am not the boss I am the leader."
"HAHA!" Mia spat out, "you are the leader? Your voice still cracks!"
"I-I-I do not crack!" Sokka replied.
"Okay, whatever old, wise leader, we'll do it your way." Mia said and the four, Momo, Aoi and Appa went out for a walk.~
"I hate walking!" Aang yelled miserable, "how can people live without a flying bison?"
"Spoilt kid." Mia mumbled.
"You can all, be very tired but at least we do not run into the fire nation!" Sokka said and he disappeared between two bushes. And yep, they just ran into a fire nation camp. How excellent!
"Run!" Sokka yelled and they all dropped their stuff to run, but they got blocked with a huge sea of fire. "Sokka!" Katara yelled panicky when shesaw Sokka's arm on fire. Mia quickly took it away from him and unnoticable she made a wave, so it would blend with the fire wave. "Let us go and we promise not to hurt you!" Sokka said when they were surrounded.
"What?!" Mia whispered alarmed. The man approached but fell down immediately. "Wow... nice work Sokka." Aang said amazed, "how did you do it?"
Sokka shrugged. "Eh... instinct?" He replied. "Look!" Katara yelled and she pointed to a young man that stood on a branch of one of the tall trees. The young man jumped and grounded a few of the guards. "Down you go." He said and he winked. Katara's eyes started to shine, Sokka's and Mia's eyebrow rose and Aang frowned.A few others came out of the trees and fought the fire nation. Mia shrugged and smacked a few men as well in the ground. "You just took down a whole army single handed." Aang said amazed. "Are they?" Sokka asked confused, "there were only like 20 guys."
"My name is Jet," the young man said, "and these are my freedom fighters." He pointed to the guys and named them: "Sneers, Long shot, Smellerbee, dudook and pipsqueek."
They all started to do stuff at the camp and Mia and Sokka were leaning against eachother with a raised eyebrow watching the progress. "W eare far more better warriors." Sokka said. "Exactly, idiot." Mia replied and gave him a pinch in the waist. "Sokka, Mia we are going to their hideout." Katara said excited. "Terrific..." Sokka mumbled and Mia laughed. "Hide out, I can't see it!" Sokka said. "Here, grab this," Jet said and he gave Sokka a rope, "hold your girl tight." Mia grabbed Sokka waist. "I am NOT his girlfrieeeeeeeeeeeend!" She yelled when she got yanked up and disappeared between the leafs.
There were enourmous tree houses, all connected to eachother with bridges. They all sat down in one of the treehouses and Jet started to tell his story. "Our village got attacked a few years ago," he started, "now when Fire Nation comes, we steal their cargo. One day we will care for the fact they will never come again."

That night they prepared a meal, stolen from the fire nation. "A toast, to our victory to defeat another fire nation group! If I will ever see one fire bender, I will certainly finish that person!" Jet yelled. "I bet for my boomerang that you'd burn that kid in the ground within the second." Sokka shipered in Mia's ear and they laughed. Jet was talking about how awesome they were and Mia got already enough of it. "That was an amazing speech." Katara said. "Thanks." Jet said when he sat down. "I was really impressed by your and Aang's bending."
"Yep the Avatar and a waterebending, how terrific! Unfortunately we have to leave tonight." Sokka said and he stood up. "Sokka... you are disappointing me..." Jet said on this tone that made Mia shiver. "I wanted you to join me on a mission." Sokka stopped and sat down again. "A mission?" Sokka asked. Jet nodded. "Of course, I will do most of the work, but you may help." Mia was completely done with him, he was worser than Zuko. "You are so full of yourself aren't you?" Mia asked Jet. "I am. And what can you do, hun, except looking pissed off the whole time?" He laughed and Aang and Katara laughed a bit as well. Mia's fists set fire and she grabbed his collar. She threw him on his back and held a burning fist above his head. "I could melt your skin off your skull..." She said cold.
"Fire Nation.... No wondering you were looking like that all the time. How dare you to show your face. What is your name?" Jet asked. "Mia Li Feng... Daughter of Lila Li Feng, old admiral of the Fire Nation. Show some respect." Mia replied. "Never," Jet replied, "at least not to the daughter of a monster." Mia held her fist closer to him. 'Mia, leave him alone!" Katara yelled angrily. "I met your mother. She passed this. Pity she got captured instead of killed." Jet whispered to her so no one else could hear it. It got black in front of Mia's eyes. "Pity if this place would set on fire..." Mia said and she burned the food and table to ashes.
Suddenly she felt something hard hitting her head and when she reached to her head it was wet. "Stop it! Time to cool off!" Katara yelled angrily. "Yes... Down there, all alone," Jet said, "and if I see you near someone of the Fire Nation, you are in huge trouble." Katara sighed. "She won't." Katara mumbled.
Mia stood up and walked away but turned around. "Thanks a lot guys, for your support. That guy just insulted my own mother and myself. But of course you won't say anything to this awesome guy... Imagine he would not like you, right Katara?" She said with a rock in her throat and she looked at Aang, Sokka and Katara and walked away. "Mia come back!" Aang yelled.
'No.' Mia thought. She could not show any emotion. She just wanted to calm down for now, not being in that brick's presence. She wanted to burn that place to the ground so much. Her anger came up, and she had no idea where that came from. Everytime she thinks of a loved one, she gets angry. Katara stabbes her in the back. Zuko wants Mia back.... Should she inform Zuko about this? No, she can't for Aang. She was fierce, she was boiling. She doesn't know what to do. But there was one thing she knew: this has to be stopped as soon as possible, before she would become like her mother once was. And then she would be unstoppable.
