You didn't know if you had slept or just taken a nap - which just complimented to the ever-growing list of things you didn't know. You didn't know where you were, you didn't know where you came from, how you got there, if you done anything to get to this. You didn't know your name, you didn't know your hometown, you didn't know your age. You didn't know what day it was, what year it was, what time it was. No...you didn't know anything, you didn't think anything. Thinking about it was like looking into a beep black hole in the ground, you felt unsafe, insecure, thinking about it; so you just didn't.
You didn't think about anything. You stared into the ceiling until a mechanical voice gave you instructions to do otherwise. That is what you did. It didn't mater for how long and why you did it, you didn't know time anyway.

You were numb.

Today, however, when you woke up, you didn't hear anyone's voice giving you instructions on what you needed to do that day. You woke up and...waited, with your eyes closed, for something to happen. Nothing did.
You didn't think anything about it. You just waited. And nothing happened.
