"Thanks for having me over, Tanner. Let's do it again, see you later!" Kelsey said as she got in her car. I stood outside on the front lawn as I watched her pull out of the driveway. We waved to each other one last time before she drove down the street. I sighed and wrapped the sweater around my torso and went inside to grab my sunglasses and phone,

"I'm going to go for a walk, got to burn off the extra cheese from last night's pizza. I won't be gone too long." Mom nodded before continuing her show. I stepped outside onto the porch and checked my phone. It was almost five so I needed to get home before seven to help cook dinner. I pushed the sunglasses on my face and began towards the road. I looked both ways before crossing the street and walking opposite of traffic, though there wasn't any traffic up here.

I guess one of the reasons I like going for walks is because I can be by myself to think, but also be distracted. I don't like running though, the only thing I can think of is how I'm about to die if I don't rest for ten minutes in between the two minute sprints. Running wasn't my thing in high school, and it probably won't be my thing, ever.

I looked down at my phone after a while of walking, it was almost quarter after six.

"Shit." I muttered under my breath. I checked the fitness app I was using and it said I was four miles out. There was no way I was going to make it back home in time, unless I ran. And even then, I would be half an hour late and my mom would be pissed when I came home. I shoved my phone in my pants pocket and began running. The things I do for family.

Ten minutes in, I knew I was going to die. When I met God at the gates of Heaven, he would shake His head and say how disappointed in my running skills he was . I stopped to take a break, looking at my phone. I had made it almost a two miles. I put my hands on my knees, trying to catch my breath. I began giving myself a mini pep talk when a horn honked at me. I jumped and turned around, seeing none other than Harry Styles pulling up behind me with a smirk on his face.

"What are you doing there?" He said once the truck was next to me and the window was rolled down. I put my hands on my hips, still trying to catch my breath.

"Running, I need to get home by seven and I can't waste anymore time. I'll talk to you later, if you ever decide to talk to me again." I said as I began running again. I could hear the truck behind me, and I couldn't help but smirk a little bit. Then in my peripheral vision, I saw the truck bumper next to me.

"I could give you a ride home, you know? It wouldn't be a big deal, I'll break the commitment with myself once." He yelled out the window. I looked over at him, then focused back in front of me.

"It's not much of a commitment if you break it, you know?" He looked away, smiling. He sped up and I sighed, I really should stop being so stubborn and for once just be soft. The truck pulled to the side of the road before Harry got out and waited for me by the truck. Once I got to the truck, he began running with me.

"What are you doing?" Harry motioned his hands up and down his body,

"Running, I need to get home by seven as well so I guess we'll run together." I stopped and looked at him, pushing my sunglasses on the top of my head.

"Well, somebody needs to drive the truck so I guess I will." I sprinted back towards the truck, the feeling of sitting down motivating me the entire way. I got to the door when Harry pushed me up against the door, turning me around in the process.

"Nobody, drives my truck." He said breathlessly. I smiled and bit my lip, we stared at each other for quite some time before he pulled away from me and folded his arms. I walked around to the passenger side and got into the truck, Harry as well. He sat in his seat for a while before looking over at me,
