Unexpected||On Hold||

Chapter 10

Yellow sighed as Blue watched her pace around the room. Blue had gone in to help Yellow prepare but Yellow panicked when she saw what blue wanted to dress her up in.

Blue had gotten her a dress and told yellow "no hat" which of course caused Yellow to freak the hell out. "Come on Yellow like this you can tell Red that you're a girl!!",Blue huffed as she laid the dress on Yellow's bed.

"I don't want him to know like that blue, i want to tell him myself and besides dresses are uncomfortable!",Yellow said still pacing back and forth. "Look Yellow, you tried telling him before and you chickened out. Even shiro called you an idiot for doing that!",Blue said. While she still hated shiro, he was a damn good advisor for this stuff.

"What if you tell him tonight at gold's party?",Blue asked smiling at her. Yellow looked at Blue and smiled a bit "I..i can try..."

Blue smiled "okay...let's make a deal. If you manage to tell Red tonight about your true gender, i won't force you to wear the girls uniform. However, if you DON'T tell Red, you will HAVE to wear a dress for the rest of the school years",Blue said smiling mischievously. However it went, Red would still know and Yellow could not back out.

Yellow sighed "okay..",she agreed.
"Great!Now let's go!",She said as she dragged Yellow with her. ChuChu blinked. Yellow would be fine by herself...right? Right...

The two girls arrived and it was crowded to say the least. Since no one had their uniforms they wore their regular clothing meaning they'd be ready for battle so they'd be safe.

"Hey blue, Hey Yellow!",A cheery voice said from behind them. Both girls immediately recognized it. Yellow jumped a bit, she did not think she'd be doing this soon. Blue smirked. She was for sure going to record what Yellow would do.

They turned and faced Red and Green. Green looked uninterested and was obviously dragged here by either Red or Blue. Red however looked like he was enjoying himself.

"Hey red, hey greenie...oh look i see silver! Come on green let's go greet him!!",Blue said grabbing his hand and running off to silver.

Yellow blinked and sighed, she knew what blue was doing.
'Well, it's now or never...',Yellow thought as she looked at Red.
"Hey, Red I-",Yellow began but was cut off when Gold appeared out of seemingly nowhere.

"Hey Red!! Straw hat kid.",he said politely nodding at Yellow. Yellow smiled back as a "hey" manner. Gold turned to Red "Hey i know this is a party and all but i wanna know how strong I've gotten, will ya battle with me?",He asked eagerly. Red smiled "sure, I'll be there in a sec",he said nodding.

Gold smiled "hey thanks! See ya in a few!",he said walking off. Red nodded and looked at Yellow
"Sorry about that Yellow...what were you saying?",he asked. Yellow looked at him then looked down "oh..nothing it's not important..go on i think gold is getting impatient",She said smiling. Red frowned a bit.
"Are you sure?",He asked. Yellow nodded and Red sighed quietly.

"Alright...",He said smiling some and pulling her hat down slightly to cover her face like he would before. He walked towards gold and Yellow gently pulled her hat up with a small smile. "Well..at least he didn't change",She said walking off.

"Hey red, where's yellow?",Blue asked after the brunette searched everywhere for the blonde. Red frowned a bit and looked around
"I...don't know. Gold asked me to battle him and that's the last time I saw Yellow"

"What?! Red go help me find him!",Blue huffed. Red nodded and walked off. He didn't need to be told twice. Of course he'd go find him! Yellow was after all still just a kid, with no pokemon on him, and he's by himself!

Red looked around and stopped when he saw something a bit shocking. He saw Yellow near a lake about to take his hat off. Why would he take his hat off? Well it was a warm day..

"Yellow?",he asked walking to her which cause Yellow to squeak in surprise. "Red! Oh geez you scared me",Yellow said sighing in relief.

"Sorry...but blue is looking for you since you walked off without telling anyone. You should really be careful you don't have any pokémon on you right now",Red said frowning. He really was worried, Yellow was like a little brother after all.

"Oh..right",Yellow said looking away a bit. "Um Red I....",Yellow began. Red looked at her and tilted his head "what is it?",he asked.

'It's now or never Yellow...',she thought. "I...have been keeping a secret from you. One that Green and Blue know but you don't. And i..don't think its fair to keep secrets from you. So...after knowing this...please don't be mad or think of me differently",Yellow said looking at him.

Red raised an eyebrow. Why would he think differently of him? Everyone has secrets...its okay that he wasn't told.

"Why would I-?",Red began his question but stopped himself when Yellow removed her hat. Her ponytail that had been securely tucked in was now free and swaying a bit with the wind.

"Because I'm a girl Red...",Yellow said frowning a bit as she looked at him. Red's eyes were wide, like..REALLY wide that Yellow thought they might pop out.

Yellow looked down. "I'm really sorry i didn't tell you sooner, i was afraid of you reacting...well like this and-",she began but stopped when Red pulled her into a tight hug. Yellow's face turned red quick. Why was he hugging her?! She felt like her face could literally produce steam at this point!

"Thank you for telling me Yellow",Red said in a muffled voice. Yellow smiled a bit and hugged back. "It must've taken you a lot of courage to tell me this...how could I be mad when it must've been so hard on you?",he asked.

"Thank you red...",Yellow said burying her face into his chest. She felt relieved to have told him already. No more secrets.
