Chapter 3

*ALEX POV*

Tonight is the night. I'm going on a movie date with Demi!! I'm so nervous. We're seeing the fault in our stars. I didn't want to see it because I've already seen it before, but whatever Demi wants to see, is fine with me. Today was the most weirdest day ever. Me and Demi kept flirting back in forth with each other again. She kept giving me butterflies whenever she smiled, which was a lot. I was walking home, when i saw Demi walking to her car. She has these massive heels on. When she walked down this step to get to the school parking lot, she fell!! I was laughing my ass off. She saw me laughing and gave me the middle finger as she started to laugh as well.
"You okay, clumsy?" I ask her as she gets herself up.
"Fuck off!!" she says giggling. I wink at her and start to walk home again.

Right now I'm preparing for my "date" with Demi. I asked Johnny to come over and help me figure out to wear.
"What about this?" Johnny asks as he holds up a Paramore tank top I got at their concert a few months ago.
"And a pair of these tights?" I say grabbing a pair of black tights.
"YES!!" He yells. I laugh and ask him to get out of my room for me to change. I finished changing and walk over to my mirror. I think I look okay. I ask Johnny to come back in my room. I start to curl my hair and Johnny goes on his phone. I look over and hear the vibration of my phone ringing.
"Johnny can you see who that is?" I ask him. He reaches for my phone.
"Some person named Demi??" He says in confusion. I smile and stop curling my hair to grab my phone.
"Hello?" I say.
"Hey it's Demi!" She says in excitement.
"What???? I didn't know???" I say sarcastically while laughing.
"Oh shut it. I'll be there around 15 minutes, okay?" She says. I feel a smile on my face.
"Yes!! See you soon." I say. We say our goodbyes and hang up. I look at Johnny, who looks a little confused.
"It's Ms. Lovato." I say while giggling.
"OHHHH" Johnny says out loud causing me to laugh. I finish getting ready and walk to my front door. I walk out and wait outside for Demi's car. Johnny says goodbye to me and starts to walk back home. As I wait, I see my moms car pull in our driveway. Wow she's early. She gets out of her car and looks up at me confused.
"Where are you going?" She says.
"I'm going out." She quirks her eyebrows and crosses her arms.
"Um... did I say you can go out?" she says while giving me a mean look.
"Like you care anyways..." I see Demi's car pull up on the curb and I walk to it.
I turn around and see my mom still looking at me.
"Ever since dad died, you seem like you never care anymore. And I HATE that." I say to her and open Demi's car door. I go inside and slam the car door shut.
"Woah.. what's going on?" Demi asks in concern. I look at her and see her eyes are on me.
"My mom. Ever since my dad dies, she's been a bitch. She's never home and I'm sick of it." I feel water in my eyes. No stop Alex. Now is not the time. I feel Demi's hand grip mine. I look at her and give her a small smile.
"Don't let your mom ruin our date, okay?" She says and smiles. The fact that she said date gives me butterflies. She drives off to the movies down town.

We're half way through the fault in our stars, when I feel Demi put her hand in mine. I get startled and look down at my hand and see its in hers. I look up at her and see her looking at me and smiling. God I wish I could kiss her right now. She's so beautiful. We're at the part in the movie where Hazel and Augustus are on the plane on their way to Amsterdam. I've been to Amsterdam before with my family before since we have family there. This movie is okay, it's kinda boring. I'm not that big of a fan of lovey dovey movies I guess. I wish I could do what Augustus does to Hazel, to Demi. I would spoil her like crazy.

The movie finished, and I cried like a baby. AGAIN. Demi was sobbing and it was the most adorable thing ever. I hugged her in comfort and I swear to god we almost kissed. It's late so instead of me taking the bus like I normally would, Demi would drive me back home. We walk back to Demi's car hand in hand. I'm kinda surprised she's holding my hand. Is it to comfort me? Or maybe she actually likes me. We see Demi's car and I feel her hand release from mine. She slowly walks in front of me and grabs both of my hands and smiles.
"That date was super fun. We need to do it again." She says. I smile and nod. We walked over to her car. She lent against her car as I was still holding her hands and was very close to her body.
"You're really fun." Demi says and giggles.
"Why thank you! So are you." I say back winking at her. All we do is stare in each other's eyes. She leans in a pecks my cheek. I start to blush then lean in for a hug. We get in her car and she starts driving me home.
