Damien Haas:
Improv teacher x Acting reader.
I walked into the usual improv acting class where most of the class were waiting. I put my bags on the side and changed into my comfier sneakers. Everyone was lightly chatting so I walked over and did some light stretching.
"Hey, what's going on?" I asked casually to a small group of classmates.
"George isn't in today so there's going to be a replacement," Someone replied. This confused me as George, our improv teacher, is never sick. Must be something really bad if he's missing class.
"I heard the replacement is cute," Someone else added. Since the group, I was with consisted of main girls and one gay guy we all seemed interested to find if she had heard correctly. I was about to speak when the door opened. Instinctively we all snapped our necks to look over. In walked an adorable, cute, attractive guy. My jaw dropped as he walked in with a bright smile. He was wearing a green shirt with the 'Triforce' logo on it. He's nerdy too! I felt someone put their hand under my chin and close my mouth. I looked over to see Olly trying not to laugh. I giggled slightly knowing I had been caught gawking at the man. He chuckled before we looked to the front of the class.
"Hey, guys. I'm Damien and I'll be taking your class today as a favour to George," He explained. Oh, my god! His accent, his smile, his face, his hair, oh, everything! I couldn't help but groan a little... okay maybe a little too loud. Everyone turned to look at me, even Damien, I panicked and looked to Olly. He pretended to start coughing.
"Sorry, I have a bad throat." He announced playing it off. I love Olly! Everyone shrugged it off and turned to look at Damien but I froze as I saw Damien's eyes still on me with a soft smile. He's sooooo cute!
He started explaining what we'd be doing today and I couldn't stop staring. Sigh! I panicked slightly when everyone started walking around. Wait, what are we doing? I quickly turned to Olly.
"Wait, what he say?" I asked quickly making Olly chuckle.
"Get into pairs," He replied. I smiled at him with puppy dog eyes. He chuckled and linked arms with me. Yay, I have a partner.
"Now, if everyone could please form a circle," Damien announced, we all obliged and got in position. Damien stood in the middle pottering on the spot slightly as he went into depth about our goals but I saw the butt and turned to look at Olly who chuckled at my shocked and impressed expression. "Now, can I have a pair to volunteer?" Damien asked.
"We'll do it!" Olly announced before anyone could even think about it. I looked at him confused and scared. "You want him to notice you, right?" He asked in a whisper. He's got a point but I don't want to make a fool of myself.
"Perfect, what're your names?" Damien asked looking at us with a smile. Okay, (Y/N) you're an actor... Act confident. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes getting in character.
"I'm (Y/N and this is Olly," I chimed. Everyone seemed a little confused in the class. I'm known as the quiet one till I'm doing a scene but normally people only hear me when I'm saying lines. Damien smiled brightly at me.
"Alright, come into the middle of the circle," We followed his instructions as he moved to switch places with us. "Alright class, what scene would you like them to do give them a place." Everyone started calling things out. "I heard grave," Damien chuckled. Okay, our location is a grave... are we visiting or are we in it? "Okay, relationship?" "Best friends," "Okay, so you're best friends and you're visiting a grave. (Y/N) someone close to you has died, action!" Damien announced and I snapped into character.

"I'm sorry," Olly sighed.
"It's okay, it's not like you were there," I sadly replied. I was so in character my eyes started filling up.
"I know but I should have been," He placed his hand on my shoulder supportively. I slightly sobbed.
"I shouldn't have let him go, I'm an idiot," I replied.
"No, you're not. How were you supposed to know there'd be a drunk driver? Joe loved you, he wouldn't want you blaming yourself." This only made me worse as the first of few tears fell.
"But I knew he loved me and I never said it back but it's too late now." I sobbed and fell to my knee's hiding my face in my hands. "I should have said it," I sobbed harder. Olly knelt down and hugged me. I sobbed onto his shoulder.
I heard enthusiastic clapping from everyone as they cheered for our scene. Oh, god I bet I look terrible right now after crying. I looked at Damien with a smile. Olly and I moved back to the edge of the circle as Damien went back into the centre. Olly hugged me tightly as we congratulated each other. Olly is so easy to work with. It's just a natural talent. I wiped my eyes and tried composing myself.
"(Y/N) would you like to wait outside?" Damien asked as he noticed me slightly struggling to calm down completely.
"Yes please," I gratefully walked out and took deep breaths as I looked out the window. I waited till my breathing was back to normal and you couldn't tell I'd been crying, I was about to walk back in when someone started coming outside. It was Damien, I froze slightly but quickly shook it off.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asked sweetly.
"Yeah, sorry. I just had to compose myself." I replied with a smile.
"I'm sorry, was it a bad topic?" He asked slightly panicked.
"No, no. I just get nervous about looking like an idiot," I comforted making him smile.
"Well, you didn't look like an idiot at all, that was absolutely amazing. Where'd you learn to act like that?" He asked excitedly.
"I'm self-taught. I just come to these weekend classes to meet other actors." I shrugged with a smile.
"You should tell me all about, how about over dinner?" He asked with an excited but nervous smile.
"That sounds perfect," I nervously giggled.
"Great, what are you doing after class?" He added, his smiling growing.
"Nothing," I couldn't help but smile. I owe Olly the biggest thank you ever!
"Wrong, I'm taking you to dinner and then I'm taking you to meet my friend, he's an actor," He informed. I nodded with a huge smile.
We went back into class with huge smiles on our faces. I can't stop smiling. I can't believe he want's to take me to dinner. I kept catching him looking at me and smiling which Olly definitely noticed.
"What did you two do outside?" Olly asked in an impressed and cautious tone making me laugh. Everyone needs a friend like Olly.
