When Lotor was born all hell broke loose. His father was a business man and his mother a witch. The two weren't supposed to go together but they did. When Lotor was born, it was with color. His mother panicked, this meant Lotor would never have a soulmate he'd be an outcast his whole life. Out of panic she hid the baby from the father until she could find the right spell and cure for her baby.

She searched and searched until finally she found it. She would make her baby colorless then bond him with another baby. Bonding was illegal but other choice did she have. Step one was already in motion. As she searched for another baby and man came to her, he was drunk and looked as if he'd lost everything. "Sir" the mother called out." The man looked up at her, "are you aware of what bonding is?"

"No ma'am," the man replied.

The mother smiled deviously and continued, "4 years from now on this same day bring a child of 4 years old and I'll give you all the money you want and then return the child to it's family."

So 4 years later the man brought Keith. The man was Keith's father and he'd thought they were off to get ice cream that day but instead a with and her son cursed him. They bonded him with Lotor. That was the start of Keith's family falling apart. Ever since that day his mom was angry at his dad and 4 years later they split. His mom ran away and he was stuck with his father whom after hearing what he did ran away, thinking the bonding wouldn't happen if he did so. Bonding was an agreement of the parents after all that they're children would be soulmates with each other so they wouldn't somehow  end up with someone undesirable. So if Keith disobeyed his father and ran away maybe the bonding would break.

Lotor was told his life that Keith was his though. He longed so much to kiss Keith but Keith refused to kiss anyone. He told Lotor to screw off everytime because he wasn't ready. But Keith met Lance.

He remembered seeing him at first and think he was cute. Keith slowly developed a crush on him through the years and when they became friends it only became worse. Keith started to fall in love with Lance. So, when Lance asked to kiss him he was actually ecstatic and when it didn't work he was defeated. Lotor saw him kissing Lance as a sign that Keith was ready for a soulmate. Keith couldn't lie to Lotor anymore he had to kiss him, but he begged Lotor to give him a year. Lotor only agreed as long as he stopped talking to Lance. Keith knew if he'd kissed Lotor then Lotor would have still stopped him from talking to Lance, so Keith stopped talking to Lance and Lotor insisted him and Keith get closer but the more Keith knew Lotor, the more he felt him to be unbearable. Keith hoped maybe his strong feeling against Lotor and for Lance would perhaps change the bonding but when they kissed, it showed otherwise.

Lotor still wasn't satisfied when Keith kissed though. He became more controlling of Keith yelling that he was looking at Lance again is class. Which Lotor had done before but not to this extent. Lotor would threaten Keith as well saying he'd hurt him if he didn't do as he was told. The day Lotor beat up Lance was the day Lotor found Lance texting Keith and once he heard Keith gasp and pity Lance, Lotor only did the same to Keith later. That's when Keith realized he had to runaway. He couldn't go back to Lotor, ever. He just didn't expect Lance to change color by a single touch. He also didn't expect Lotor to already be on the move.

Keith had been getting call after call from Lotor but Keith had ignored everyone. Lotor had left a message though and Keith hadn't even checked for what it was yet. Lotor had seen the way Keith tapped on his notebook and left and odd message on his phone, he saw the way he looked at Lance, and he'd never even heard of this brother Keith said he was going to stay with so Lotor sent taps to Keith in a voicemail, "••- •-•   — •• -• •"
