Are we friends or were we friends

Chapter two

"Hey, what's up?" I said shyly with my head low. I couldn't look at him right now. It was too weird for me. If I glazed into his eyes for another minute I would be telling him about the dream....about him.

Levi walked over to me put his arms around my waist. I felt this burning feeling from his touch. It made me uncomfortable that I stepped outward quickly creating space. He seemed like he didn't completely recognize my rejection and put his arm around my shoulder.

He starts leading me down the hall. It is useless trying to avoid Levi. After all these years of our friendship, I knew that too much. He could tell if anything was wrong with me, and he could make you tell him. Afterwards there would be something off your chest and he would help solve my problems, but not this time.it was different.

"I like how you fell asleep on me last night," Levi said sarcastically. He made me remember those three words. I. Love. You. I know those words were just him being a best friend saying I love you. I know he didn't mean it.

" oh yea, I was sleepy."

"Oh! That hurt." He said sarcastically. I laughed at his silliness. We continued to my first class, down the hall.

"You know Levi, your going to be late for your first class. Isn't it upstairs not down here?" I ask. We both know each others schedules. He knows mine, I know his.

"I don't care. I'm spending sometime with my best friend isn't that right?" He answered and I hid my face from my checks getting pink. We stopped in front of my first period class and from a outsider looking in, it would look like I was waiting for a kiss from my boyfriend to start of the day.

"Hug" he demanded, before I could think any more, Levi slid both arms around my waist and pulled me in close. I don't know how much more I can pretend that I still love him like....just a friend.

"I'll see you later" I said as I walked into the room.

"Alright" he replied huskily. I took I seat in front of Dominique.

"Hey Kylie!"

"Yeah?"

"What if Auden were to ask you out, would you say yes?"she asked

"Like a date?" I questioned in shock.

She answered my question with a simple yes.

"Ugggggg" I took my time to think. Auden McCauley? Captain of basketball team....lady killer.......Dominique's twin brother....??????i don't know

"She wouldn't say yes to Auden, she is waiting for Levi" Dominic says, the kid listening to our conversation.

"No I'm not, Levi is my BEST FRIEND!"

After that our teacher walks in and starts class for the next 45mins. All I can think about is Levi, how his dark brown hair is perfect not even touched. How his eyes are this perfect light blue. How his stomach has a perfect v shape, and how a perfect set of six packs lay right on top of his v. His arms are so muscular too. Levi plays football, captain, lady man of course, and is just this charming person.

The bell rings, I stepped out into the hall and I bumped into Auden. He had curly hair, caramel skin.....he was a copy of his twin sister.

"Auden, hey"

" hey Kylie. I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime....with me" he said with a charming smile. Than he walked up to me.

" uhh cam I get back to you, it's a maybe thou" I quickly blurted out before leaving. Either way it didn't matter to me.
