'Why do I stand out?
Is it my hair,
My clothes,
Or maybe it's my walk?'
'No that can't be it.
Is it my eyes,
Or my nose,
Perhaps it's my face?'
Still doesn't fit the expression
of people near me.
'OH!
I think I know why!
It's because of who I holding hands with.'
'Well they should just mind there own business
and we won't bother them.'
But that doesn't happen.
'FAGGOT'
'SINNERS'
'YOU'RE GOING TO HELL'
'Not 'Normal'
The words keep on spewing out of
their mouth's like poison
and it won't stop.
Soon they are in my face,
shouting at me
Saying that we are freaks,
We are abominations,
Fags,
Fairies,
Not 'Normal'.
'Well what is 'Normal'?
Is it living in a nice home,
Or hanging out with friends on the weekend,
Maybe liking the opposite gender.'
'It that why we are being yelled at?
Because I like the same gender?
Well that is just nonsense! '
'Why should it be their business
who I like?'
'It's not like I am ruining their lives.'
Soon the words stop when a officer
came to stop the commotion.
I quickly let go of my lovers hand
and shove my hands in my pockets.
