Ghost Cat

Chapter 1

I watch as two wolves came out of the forest to a little opening. I watch as their ears flicker trying to find the slightest sound. I had them were I wanted. I slowly start my way down the tree. Slowly I stalked towards the biggest one. He had power but wasn't an alpha or beta. I stopped moving and pressed myself as close to the ground as I could. He was looking in my direction, but he didn't see me. It was pitch black out. They had no clue what was coming. I heard rustling to my left. I didn't dear to move. The alpha was here. I had to change my tactic. The alpha has to go first. This won't be easy. I thought.

He was big but not the biggest I've taken down. His fur was dark grey and his eyes glowed in the night. I kept my eyes as hidden as possible to keep my cover. I started to back up to go back to my tree. I had to rethink my plan. As I was backing up, I heard a snap. Shit I thought. I just stepped on a stick. All eyes were towards me but they don't know where exactly. All of them started my way, ears laid back, teeth bare, and bodies low.
I had a split second to know what to do. I took off into the woods with them on my tail.

I don't dare look back. They know this land better than I do. I sense only 2 of them chasing me. I look for a tree I can climb. I see one and right as I'm about to jump. The alpha is right in front of me. I couldn't stop in time and tumble into him. Taking him down with me. I was than surrounded by the alpha, beta, and 2 other wolves. The alpha shifts and is standing in front of me in all his naked glory. I just bare my teeth at him body low ready to pounce.

He says, "shift." I just growl and glare. My jaguar is pissed. NO ONE commands her. She is on the verge of taking over and I can't let that happen. I start thinking of my options. She just smiles and say,"maul them all" she can be quiet vicious.

I heard more wolves coming. I had to move or give myself up but if I do I might be killed or worst. I start to turn slowly looking for a way out than I see it the smallest wolf. I can easily clear him and the tree behind him is perfect. I know I can't give signs I'm about to jump so I face the alpha stand up and roar at him.

Than I leaped over the small wolf and jumped right up the tree as fast as I could. I look down and see 10 wolves surrounding the tree. The alpha yells "get down here cat." I'm screwed. I'm stuck in a tree surrounded by mutts. I need a way out. I could kill the alpha, but that'll cause severe anguish for the others and they only want me dead. Or I can try to run again.

What the hell I like a good challenge. So I start moving in the tree making sure to shake the leaves. They can't see me, but they can definitely hear me. I decide to hide my scent. I stop making any noise but I keep moving slowly tell I'm right above the alpha. I just lay there absolutely still not moving. I lay there for a hour waiting for the right moment.

As the hour went by I saw them start relaxing thinking I'm gone. They start shifting back. I slowly stand up getting ready to kill the alpha. He turns and starts to move and I start my assault. I land right on him. In less than a second his head is in my jaws. I crush his skull. All the wolves look at me in pure shock. I drop the alpha and take off.

I keep my scent hidden and jump in a tree with a low branch and I start counting the wolves that go by 6,7, and 8. Than I jump the 9th one. He whines out as I land on him. I ripe his throat out quickly. I start running in their direction and hide in the bushes waiting. One by one I take them all down than some. More wolves started showing up. They started to pair up. I just laugh it wouldn't help them, but they did leave the pack house undefended. I start to make my way there. I take down any pair that I come across with as quickly and quietly as possible.

I finally get to the pack house. I watch as they are rushing them in the house so I shift and try to blend in with the crowd. Surprisingly it worked. I'm in a locked bunker filled with the elderly, mothers, and children. I start to notice some of them noticing I'm here. The start moving away and I just grin "what's wrong." I start to shift, but I do it slower than usually for more effect. I shake my fur out as I start hearing screams. I hear bones rearranging the cracking and popping makes me just laugh. I watch as untrained mothers step in front of their pups, but they won't be surviving tonight.

One of the fools charge me. I hit her with my paw and hear a satisfying crack. She's whimpering as I walk towards her, knowing she wasn't going to make it along with her pups. I start taking the mothers down as the pups run for the door banging on it whimpering, crying, and screaming. I know I have a few minutes to kill as many as possible. So I stop playing with my prey and killing as quickly as possible.

I hear the door being open and I just have a few more children to go. I jump on 3 children and ripe ones throat out, crushed a skull, and rip open a stomach. I have 2 kids left and I need them gone now. I just claw their stomachs and hope that's enough.

The door opens and I see at least 20 wolves taking in the scene before them. Than in an instant all eyes are on me.
