In the bunker is where things got wierd, Dean woke up to the sound of muffled arguing and slow understanding of what must happen. Things were way out of control when the apocalypse started and everything got worse. Dean groaned in annoyance and went to fix himself a cup of coffee. But that task was interrupted by Sam and Castiel abruptly stopping their discussion to greet Dean.
"How'd you sleep?" Sam asked, trying to look as if he wasn't stressed about a task that may endanger everyone involved.
"Great, um, what's with the yelling?" Dean asked. He never heard Sam or Castiel argue with each other, at least, not for a long time.
"Everything's fine Dean, me and Sam just had to... talk about something private," Castiel said.
"I don't buy it, something's happened, what is it?" Dean asked. He definitely didn't want to talk about any possible cases this early in the morning.
"The apocalypse is rapidly decreasing life on earth and we need to travel back in time to where Sam met Ruby. He needs to kill her before any more damage can occur," Castiel said, worry and anger edging his voice.
"Okay, I think if we do this, we need to tell the others," Dean said, all the sleepiness gone from his voice and face.
"Alight, sounds like a plan," Sam said. He remembered all of the events that transpired after he accidently helped Ruby out years ago and felt responsible for the lives that ended because of his anger and the thought that he was doing the world good by helping a demon that wanted to end it.
