Chapter 4

Elena's POV

Arriving at Caroline and mines dorm I parked the car in one of our two spaces and walked to our dorm pausing outside the dorm room to fish out the keys from my bag. When I finally found the keys I unlocked the door(1) and stepped inside and locked the door behind me.

Caroline was on her bed packing her sleepover bag. "Okay, Elena even thought Damon isn't here we will forget him and have fun" Caroline said to me with convincing face(2) "does that sound okay to you Elena?". Caroline said taking out her mental check list and checking off everything she think she will need into her cute -half the size of a normal duffle bag- duffle bag.

"Sounds Okay to me" I said back to Caroline with a smile on my face and a small laugh "so what do I need to bring"? i said again to Caroline taking out my backpack and started packing my pjs and a spare change of clothes for tomorrow(3).

"Well, I am bringing my pjs, spare clothes, movie, money, comb, curler, popcorn, cell phone charger, earbuds, mini phone speakers, and my makeup" Caroline said to me double checking her bag and mental check list "You the things i need and maybe one or two for just incase".

I packed everything except the movie, curler, and speakers. After making sure we got everything we got everything packed we headed off to the boarding house(4).

When we got to the house and put our stuff in 'our rooms' we went around looking for blankets. Stefan and I went upstair to his room where we found three blankets. I was about to go downstairs when Stefan held onto my shoulder holding me back; he tilted his head in the direction of his en suite bathroom as if telling me 'meet me there, quietly'. i placed my blankets on his bed and met him in the bathroom.

"So, when exactly do you plan on telling them" Stefan asked leaning on the running sink softly enough for only us to hear with the water on "I will tell them before we go to bed" i replied getting off from the wall to get the blankets and walked into the room where the movie was being played.

Stefan and I sat on the couch while some sat on the floor or the other two couches. The movie being played was twilight breaking dawn part two. During the beginning Caroline was either yelling profanities at their version of vampires or commenting on how good they look while everyone else agreed with her, most of the time.

When it was time for the part when Bella got a big belly, i couldn't help but be scared and tear up. 'Is that going to happen to me?'. 'will our baby come out healthy since I am a vampire?'. 'Will our baby be half vampire or stay the same forever?'

All these questions clouded my head. I didn't even realize I was crying until Stefan held me close and wiped away my tears with his thumb. When the movie ended I knew it was time to tell everyone about the baby. Before every one sat up I rushed out what I had to say.

"Hey umm, guys" i asked holding Stefan's hand while Jer(emy) turned on the lights everyones eyes looked at Stefan and I "I am pregnant and its Stefan's baby" I said and everyones eyes were wide and no one said anything probably taking in the new information.

"Well, congrats" came from Matt, Rebekah, Jeremy while Caroline couldn't help but say "Oh yay!!! We are all so happy for you! And not to sound unhappy or put a damper in your situation, but how are you pregnant while being a vampire?".

"We aren't sure yet, but all I have thought of was magic(5)" Stefan said finally speaking up "Maybe we should end the night here and go to sleep" everyone agreed and went to their 'rooms' in the house to sleep. Instead of being in Damon and I's old room I slept in Stefan's room.
