"It was a cold December morning," Dj said, narrating to herself, " the cunning female fox, strikes again! No foe, or family member, could stand against me!"
Dj did this normally everyday, she'd do this to boost up her confidence. She wasn't always this confident though. But she learned that being down would never bring her up, so she had no choice but to bring herself back up again.
She sighed.
" Ok, Dj! " she said to herself, " Today is your cousin's birthday, you have to be under control if anything goes wrong. She's counting on you..."
A couple of seconds went by with complete silence.
She sighed, again.
She hopped out her bed and went downstairs to get breakfast. She, grabbed a bowl, cereal, and milk.
I think you can guess what she's making ō3ō...
She doesn't really eat cereal often, she only does it when she is feeling dependable.
And when she runs out of cookies.
She got finished with her cereal in about two minutes.
She was rushing, you could tell if you were next to her. She doesn't like cereal like that, so if she were eating that fast, then she's not really in a joking mood.
She went back upstairs, took a quick five minute shower, went in her room, got dressed, sat down, and thought about how the birthday would go.
She thought to herself, it's gone be fiiine! Nothing bad is gonna happen, I'm worrying too much...
Which she was right about.
She always wanted things to go good, no matter how it goes, just hoping it goes good.
She stopped thinking about it, stood up, went downstairs, and left the house with a present box in her hand.
She took out her phone and called her older brother, Damian. The phone rang for a bit, but he picked up.
" Hello? " Damian said with a tired voice.
" Hey Damian, can you come pick me up? It's Cherry's birthday, and-"
" Dj," Damian interrupted, " It's 8:37 am. Chill out, she's probably not even awake..."
Dj thought for a second.
He's right. She thought in her head. It's way too early...
" Sorry Damian. You must be tired." Dj apologized.
" Eh, it's fine... At least I have more time to waste on my 18 year old life..."
Dj snickered a bit.
" So, anyways, you have anything planned for today? Other than Cherry's birthday, of course.." Damian asked.
" No, not really." Dj answered, scratching the back of her head.
" Well, call me at 10:30. I'll pick ya up then. Ok?"
" Ok, thanks,"
" No Problem, Bye, sis."
" Bye bro."
He hung up.
Dj gave a big, deep, sigh.
She went back inside, and laid down, bored waiting for the hours to go bye, which so far to her, seemed forever.
