CAMERON POV
If there's one thing I learned in grade 7 it's that girls are bitches. It's a long story (and I mean long) that I'm not prepared to tell but just believe me. I'm a girl myself so I would know. There are many nice girls who would never hurt anyone and aren't backstabbers but I'm not taking my chances.
I changed my mind that summer, I used to hate boys. All the fighting and punching and how they didn't just talk. I changed my mind about all of that. The next year I came back looking like a girl but fighting like a guy.
"CAMERON" my boyfriend, Nathan, yelled from across the school yard.
"CAMERON OVER HERE!" He yelled again. He was standing with my new best friends, Evan, Nick and Rider. I ran over and greeted them.
"What's up?" I said as I gave Nathan a quick hug.
Evan starts to talk about some random girl gossip and I half listen to what he's saying. Nathan raps his arm around my waist and pulls me closer.
"You look beautiful today babe." He whispers in my ear softly.
I shiver and smile before getting lost in thoughts again. I feel happy, last year was hell for me.
~Flashback~
"I don't think we can be friends anymore." Kirsten shouted at me.
"Why's that?" I spat back at her.
"Because you start drama and you're a bitch." Mandy yelled. Rider walks in at the right time to hear Mandy yell.
"Yeah, she's the drama starter and the bitch." He said. She stomped her foot and walked away with Mandy close behind her.
"Thanks."
"No problem, she's a bitch. I wouldn't bother with her." He said.
"I won't, I'm done with her bullshit." I assured him.
"Come hang with us sometime." He gestured toward a group of guys, who would soon be known as my best friends.
"Sure, why not?" I walked with him towards the group.
~Back to present~
"Cameron? Cam? You're spacing out again." Nick said as he waved a hand in front of my face.
"Sorry, I was just thinking."
"Well obviously." Evan stated. I glared at him.
~Next day~
I meet up with Nick the next morning.
"Rider has a football practice and Nathan has a basketball game. Evan's mad at me for some reason and so he's following some group of poor girls around." He said without me having to ask.
"Okay." I looked over at him staring at me. I always felt awkward in these situations. I didn't know what to do or why he was staring but I just looked awkwardly at him.
NATHANS POV
I don't wanna leave Cameron alone with Nick. It's not that I don't trust Cameron, it's that I don't trust Nick. He's liked her for so long. Before I started dating her, even before I started liking her. She used to like him to, he was just too chicken to ask her out. I can't lose her.
Usually I wouldn't worry too much about leaving but Rider has a practice and Evan doesn't hang out with us if the whole groups not there.
KRISTEN'S POV
Looks like it's just Nick and Cameron in their stupid little group. This could be good. I mean we all know Nick has a stupid little crush on Cameron since like forever.
I quickly tell Mandy my plan and we get to work.
