Seeing him there after five years is too much. I was going to close the door avoiding eye contact to start the meeting when I heard
"Mommy can I watch cartoon in your office please" my son asked
" yes you can mommy has to go now" I said.
When he was gone I turned around to meet with the eyes that caused me so much pain so I looked away and apologized for that. The meeting went on for an hour then they came to an agreement with each other. We all left the meeting room and I went straight to my office. I heard a knock on the door and I said come in and saw it was my very angry ex husband.
