The truth (Loki and Avengers)

A familar voice attached to a familiar man (Chapter 2)

THIRD PERSON POV

Tony and Nebula's ship landed on Earth. Tony had called Bruce and said the remaining Avengers were in Wakanda. Tony had no idea what Bruce was talking about and he was to tired to figure it out, so he tracked Bruce's phone. Once they located Bruce's phone they were stopped by a row of ships. The ships turned and went through a rock. Tony and Nebula were confused but that was now a normal feeling. They followed the ship. Color and bright lights swirled around them. It stopped and they saw a city. Tony landed the ship. Nebula and Tony walked out, instantly regretting it. The city was in shambles. Warriors were scattered. Bodies, of both sides, riddled the ground. Tony and Nebula walked towards the palace and were greeted by Bruce, Natasha, Rocket, and Rhodey. Tony was hugged by Rhodey, then by Bruce, then surprisingly by Natasha. Tony wanted to cry but he wouldn't. Instead determination was on his mind. He would get them back. He would get Peter back. No matter what.

Nebula pulled Rocket aside and told him what had occurred on Titan. Rocket was alone. He had no one. He thought of how annoying he was but it didn't matter to the guardians. To his family it didn't matter. But it was all gone now.

Steve, and Thor sat in the lab. Steve had just lost his two best friends and his team. Steve never got to say goodbye to them and he never would. Thor sat. He had just lost his parents, his people, his best friend, and his brother. His mind swirled with memories of his family. He remembered all of the tricks Loki had played but he had always forgives Loki. He thought of how he would rush to Heimdall for comfort and guidance whenever things where difficult. He thought of his parents. He had lost everything in so little time.

           Shurri sat with her head on Okoye's shoulder. Tears streaming down her face she sat in silence. She thought of how annoying she could be towards T'Challa. She loved him but she never told him. She always thought there would be time but there wasn't.

The remaining team members, or rather ex team members, gathered in the lab with Rocket, Nebula, and Shurri. Tony and Steve on opposite ends of the room. They hadn't talked to each other since the "incident." The room was quite. No one spoke and no one dared to.

          "So. What are we going to do?" Bruce asked breaking the silence. No one answered. No one had an answer.

          "Wow. I retire for less than an hour and it everything goes to hell." A familiar voice attached to a familiar man walked in. The avengers new this man.

          "Clint?" Nat asked. Clint laughed and nodded. Nat rushed over and hugged him. They released each other and Nat punches him." Ow!" Clint yelled. Nat just laughed and hugged him again. Steve walked over and hugged him.

          "Where have you been?" Nat asked.

          "Well I retired. I was sitting at home when my wife screamed and my kids turned into dust and then my wife turned into dust." Clint looked down. No one knew how to respond. Clint looked up excited. "That's what I forgot to tell you! We have located Thanos!" Everyone looked up.

          "What?" They all said. Clint just nodded his head.

          "Yes he is in Toronto, Canada. He has managed to clear the entire city." Clint said.
