The two families arrived in the location. The Asuncions got greeted before the Saldcedos which gave Iligah time to plan. Once it was the Salcedos turn to be greeted. Iligah took the spotlight after they greeted Ailee, giving Alden the chance to at least glance at Vince who glanced back at him before the Asuncions were escorted inside.
"And this is my brother, the first heir of the Salcedo company." Iligah introduced, gesturing to Alden who quickly diverted his gaze on his boyfriend.
"Hi, I'm Alden A-Salcedo." Alden almost slipped out but shook their hands.
"My brother is just nervous." Iligah covered up. "He's used to the people we usually meet up with in our building and some people we meet in the Asuncion building."
"Well, don't worry, Alden. Make yourself at home in our business," Kayce's mother told him.
"Thank you," Alden said.
"Shall we proceed inside?" Kayce's mother asked.
----------
"Okay, kids. So, the Asuncions, Bornoas, and I are going to have this meeting for an hour then we will have a break for 30 minutes and then resume for 30 more minutes, so I trust both of you enough to know that you'll behave in the waiting room with Vince and Kayce and that there will be no fighting no matter how much we don't like the Asuncions," Ailee reminded but muttered the Asuncion part. "You know where the waiting room is yeah?"
"Yes, mum," Iligah said. "and if anything, we won't be fighting. We promised we won't be immature."
"Good, because the most of the times when we have business meetings with the Asuncions, your brother always comes out shambolic and so does the Asuncion boy," Ailee said before walking to the conference room, getting out of the hearing range.
Iligah started chuckling a bit and sarcastically said. "We totally don't like the Asuncions and you always fight with Vince because of that and end up disheveled."
"If only she knew," Alden said while Iligah agreed.
The two walked to the waiting room where Vince and Kayce were, talking about the irony of the situation and about the plan. The waiting room was a small room, it wasn't a place to hold a lot of people, it was just a room with a few chairs around with a big table in the center, a water dispenser, a big drawer of office supplies, and a small TV. Once they entered the room and closed the door, they began dropping their act.
"Okay, fanfic-real life Draco and Harry, me and Sirius over here will be going to the cafeteria for a second, so no snogging until we give you a heads up," Iligah said. "Do you guys want anything?"
"Yeah," Vince said. "But we're not familiar with what they sell, so buy something you think we'd like, James."
"But you already have your boyfriend there, Draco." Iligah smiled. "Jokes. Alright, earpieces on."
The four put their earpieces on then Iligah and Kayce went out of the room to get some food, leaving Vince and Alden alone.
"Salcedo," Vince said, sitting on the table.
"Have a problem, Asuncion?" Alden asked, leaning on the door.
Calling each other by their last names and acting like they are enemies at first is their thing.
No wonder Draco and Harry is the perfect codename for them.
"The only problem that I have is that I don't get to see you around a lot and if I do I have to hide it," Vince said.
"Getting romantic I see," Alden said.
"Well, why else won't I be romantic?" Vince asked.
"Because just like my sister said, we can't snog until they give us a heads up," Alden said.
