Chapter 10: Number 1

-At Gym Class 

"So, some of you  think your the fastest, most powerful, most strong runner in the universe," The coach walked in a slow circle around the students, "show me what your made of at the race track," 

Cassie gulped," I'm not much of a runner," 

"Well, too bad!" The coach shouted rudely," who wants to race first?!" 

Astra raised her hand, 

"Kay, who wants to race next?" Coach shouted loudly, 

Astra put her hands behind her back and magically raised Sage's hand. 

" Ms.Sage, your racing ," Coach shouted, 

"But I didn't raise my hand," Sage yelled,

"Well, Ya Did!" Coach shouted for the 4th time, " now start at the race track!" 

Sage and Astra started at the race track, 

"On your mark, get set-" Gemma started, 

"Quiet, orange hair, I say when they can go," Coach shouted, 

Gemma rolled her eyes, 

"On your mark, get set, GO!" The coach shouted, 

Astra and Sage ran on race track, 

"You have 7 minutes left! Keep going!" The coach looked at his watch, 

"Your faster then I thought," Astra said as she ran, 

"Thanks," Sage said running, 

"You now have 5 minutes left! Let's make it more difficult!" Coach shouted as obstacles appeared, 

"Oh my stars!" Libby said watching as Sage and Astra dodged, jumped, and went under the obstacles, 

"You now have 3 minutes and 30 seconds left!" Coach shouted, 

"FOR THE LOVE OF JUPITER, WOULD YOU STOP SHOUTING!?!!" Astra yelled angrily at coach, 

"Umm, sorry," Coach looked down awkwardly, for the first time ever not shouting in class, 

"You have 2 minutes and 10 seconds left!" Vega shouted at Sage and Astra, 

"Who will win!?!" Gemma narrated, "Astra seems to be focused on winning, but Sage is catching up!" 

"What!?" Astra said obviously jealous, 

"You now have 1 minute and 12 seconds!" Tessa yelled, 

"I will not  let Sage win," Astra muttered angrily to herself

"You now have 53 seconds left!" Adora yelled, 

"The finish line!" Sage said as she saw the finish line, 

"Oh, your not winning on my watch," Astra evil smirked as she used her super speed and went faster, 

"You now have 23 seconds!" Clover yelled, 

"Sage is catching up, so is Astra,and it's going back and fourth!" Gemma narrated, 

"Who is gonna win!?" Leona said excited, 

"You now have 10, 9, 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1-" Gemma shouted as Sage was just about to get to the finish line as Astra beated her, "and the winner is- Astra!" 

Astra did her signature victory dance, 

"Well, you were super close," Cassie comforted Sage, 

"Astra won, no surprise," Coach said, 

"I'm still number 1," Astra said cockily, "but someone is close to taking my place," 

"Okay, Piper, Leona, your up!" Coach shouted, 

Piper and Leona started at the race track, 

"GO!" Coach shouted, 

Astra walked  to Sage, "Sage, can I ask you something?" 

"Sure, what?" Sage answered, 

"Why are YOU the leader?" Astra evil chuckled, 

"Hmm, not sure," Sage wondered," Maybe I'm just leader material,"
