"Ivy let's go, get up" Kate my older sister is yelling at me.

"What?" I'm rolling over to look at her.

"The house is on fire, let's go."

I'm jumping out of my bed, I'm leaving my room. I'm trying to run for my parents room, but Kate is pulling me back. That end of the house is in flames. We are running out of the front door, I looked around, for my parents. They were nowhere in sight, what is going to happen to us now. I want my parents,  Kate looks happy about all of this. What did she do now?

     "Where's mom and dad?"

"I don't know" Kate is telling me.

I'm staring at my sister, I know that she knows. Her hazel eyes are dancing with joy. I want to grab her, to shake her. But instead I'm watching her dirty blonde hair, blow around in the wind. I wonder why, we look so different.  My eyes, the doctor tells my parents are rare, some genetic disorder.  Their violent, my hair is dark brown. But my parents,  are dirty blonde, like Kate's. Even, her hazel eyes are like them.

Where do I, even fit in, with my family?

As the house is burning down, firefighters are trying to put it out. Why are my thoughts everywhere else? I'm only 11 years, Kate is 17. So in a year, she's be able to take me, with her. I know now, that my parents are in the house. I hope that, they didn't feel any pain. Why do I feel like, I want to scream for joy, that their gone? I'm happy to no longer, have them with us. Is it wrong, to be happy? I know that Kate is to, I believe that she did it, to save me. To save us. More herself, then anything.
