Abu-Qaqa barged in unannounced stroking his bushy beard, his brows furrowed when he noticed the lone figure hurdled up in a calm sleeping position. A long night journey through the rough terrain of sambisa will definitely take its toll on anyone not so acquainted with the route.Anita's reaction to stress was no different as she over shot her sleeping hours. Abu-Qaqa leaned forward, carefully tucked away some stray strands of braids, and took his time to time caressing her cheeks.
Anita awoken as the Shekau proclaimed commander ran his cold fingers on her cheeks but as though she was informed of the impending danger associated with sudden movements she laid perfectly still, her eyes fixed to his gazed.
Tension and fright brewed in Anita, she felt her bowels ready to give way but she held her chin up, determined to not allow her emotions take charge and make her look weak or give her away, not even in the face of danger. While the other girls squirm and cowered in fear, with the confidence of a wife before her husband, Anita sat upright and threw Abu-Qaqa a smile. "what is your name young lady?"
"I'm Anita, Anita Darius, and who are YOU?" she dared to ask. Her fearlessness to dare ask his commander questions irritated Zabib, Abu-Qaqa's lapdog.Zabib reached for his whip in an attempt to instill some fear and discipline in her but before he could execute his intention Abu-Qaqa held his hand. "don't" he said turning to look zabib with a smile "I like her! Her confidence suits that of a commander's wife don't you think?" Zabib was in no position to argue even though he did not like Anita, he could only nod in compliance to his boss, "yes ameer" staring at Anita with hatred. "fear is for the weak and she seems fearless" zabib added
The little discussion between Abu-Qaqa and zabib gave Anita a boost of confidence, "you still haven't told me who you are" she cut through their conversation. Abu-Qaqa turned to face her, a smirk visible on his lips "take her to my chambers let her freshen up, do get her some fresh clothes too"
"lets get going you heard the commander" zabib ordered. Anita graciously got on her feet and followed his tracks, they barely made it half way to the tent's entrance when Abu-Qaqa spoke again "Not to worry you'll find out who I am— soon... Oh one more thing, you're no more ANITA from today" he said making air quotations and laying emphasis on 'Anita' "from today you shall be called Anisa". Anita curtsied "as it pleases the commander" adding a curt smile once more. This action only infuriated zabib more, no captive in their custody exhibited such nonchalant and fearless attitude. He was used to people who fawn just at the sight of him but rather she seems to be enjoying it. He roughly pulled Anita's arm towards the exit. "gentle with her, she's mine" Abu-Qaqa said, Zabib felt threatened, never had he felt the urge to pounce on a human like her.

The camp was alive and bustling, men littered everywhere, some loaded boxes of munitions and supplies onto trucks while others either preped motorcycles, reloaded magazines or wired IEDs in smaller cars.
The big day had finally arrived, while all was set and done ready for battle, Abu-Qaqa gathered his men and summoned all the captives as well to give them his regular pre-battle pep talk and moral booster, and also issue warnings to the captives and would be deserters. "my humble brothers today we go on a mission, a mission to liberate our people from oppression. Today we fight the infidels to free those who can't fight for themselves. We will not watch from the shadows as the so-called government use their stupid laws and constitution to infringe on our rights! We only believe in the government of Allah, our constitution is the Quran" loud cheers of Allahu Akbar accompanied his last statement. When the cheers died down Abu-Qaqa continued "....we will not allow them lead us astray!" he went on with his propaganda speech spewing the best he can to encourage his fellow insurgents, soon most of the captives lost interest until some words caught the attention of Ameera ".... We will not allow anything or anyone stop us from achieving and actualizing this caliphate. My brothers you must know, if you fight and die in the cause of your Lord, then you will attain the ranks of Umar ibn khattab and the likes, just as these honorable souls would". Five young girls were brought out of the tent he stood before, all between the age of 12-15 with suicide vests strapped to their chests. Not even the dumbest of the dumb will mistake their fate.
